    Idk why this took me so long to learn, but you did an amazing job explaining the differences, similarities, and what to watch out for. Thank you so much!

    Thank you for your video! Studying for my nurses state final exam and this really helped me to understand the difference between the two and to get a clear picture/visualization of the different chambers ❤️ #keepUpTheGreatWork

    You explain this so well. I have watched several of your videos and you are such a great educator. Thanks for helping us nurses improve our knowledge and nursing students gain knowledge for the NCLEX. You are amazing :)

    Is the use of a wet section versus a dry suction up to the prescribing provider’s preference? Or are there certain patient conditions that determine which one is used?

    Question: for the WET suction, if I add water to the suction chamber but do not connect it to the suction on the wall is it still to gravity? And conversely, if the order is to gravity, do I need to add water into the suction chamber ?

    can u explain where we can attach the suction tube in wet system drainage ?

    • @NurseErica
      @NurseErica  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for your question. Both systems attach the same way. There is a suction tube that connects from the suction and drains directly into the collection chamber. I will work on a shorter video explaining this and post it on my TIk Tok Nurse.Erica_youtube
