I had an idea about musicality since my last comment. When learning it is easy to get wrapped up in hitting the right key and keeping a steady tempo. Once you get past that you can think more of the message you convey. Now I'm trying to think of an image or a narrative while I play. The music becomes more communication than just a series of notes. It seems to work for me. What do you think?
Yeah! Totally! It makes sense once you "get it", but I think it requires some effort to get past that "I gotta hit the right note" part. Any advice on getting past it?

Start simple, enjoy what you can do, you are always getting better. Then play and play, what fun.
