Sir, As you have already said our building is a load bearing structure we want to extend another floor, we are willing to construct it as a seperate structure and for that we have to raise coulmns and it is not possible to have a plinth beam, can we build a structure like that ?

How to find a home in load bearing structure or column structure ?
There are many ways..
1. You can excavate slightly on the outer side of the building and find out...
2. If it is a serious dispute or doubt you can chip at prior areas where a column is supposed to be and find out.
Sir i am watching your videos, it clear catch. Now we are extending our exist ing home and roof level there is no rebar provided in coloum as well as roof. Now column shall broke to joint in roof level or will go for grouting technology
1. Discuss with a structural consultant
2. Technical person will suggest based on your current and proposed plan

Whatever suggested by a structural engineer is fine. We don’t recommend semi framed structure.

I have a question nearly lik this
I have built ground floor framed structure with 4 ×12mm rod 9 by 9 inch pillar with span distance 10 feet every pillars in length..( 52 by 26 feet) with foot depth 6 feet from ground level in medium rock soil ( sand soil )
Also 9 by 9 wall built through out the building means composite structure ( double the strength in ground floor)
At this condition can we build G+2 story by frame work? Plz reply
if it is designed for g+2, you can verywell do. Otherwise, take the help of a structural engineer. Make them visit the site and get their opinion before proceed.
