I don't know her current ranking, but you wrote she currently ranked #2 in her country - her country is China - I doubt very much her ranking based in only China. She played International and compete in international and her title is a world title. The Japanese opponent is not known Internationally like Siming Chen. Go online and check their ranking and status for yourself.
