Allison Fisher vs Siming Chen
ACD pool tournament was held at The Orleans Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. There were a lot of great matches with a very strong Pro field on the Men and Women's side.
This is one of my favorite matches of the tournament. Allison Fisher, the Duchess of Doom, vs Siming Chen, the current #1 female world champion. They meet twice in the tournament and this is their first match.

Asian Culture Day
I want to educate you on a monumental event that's happening in the great city of Las Vegas.
Last year, the Senate passed a bill, which was signed off by Nevada's governor Brian Sandoval, proclaiming May 18th as Asian Culture Day here in the state of Nevada.
As a Taiwanese born in Taipei Taiwan, I am very honored to be able to say I was a part of this festivity and I would like to invite you to come celebrate with us. We are throwing a big party all thru out Las Vegas from May 16th thru the 19th 2018 to celebrate the Asian Culture Day Holiday.
There will be multiple events thru out Las Vegas from the Fremont Experience, to the Rio Resort & Casino, and at the Orleans Casino.
One of the events, which I'm the producer of, is the 1st Annual Asian Culture Day Pool Tournament. For the pool enthusiasts, Efren Reyes is coming. For the people who don't know who he is, he's the greatest player that has ever lived. He is allowing us to call this his "Retirement Tour". We will also be presenting him with the first Annual ACD lifetime achievement award. HUGE!!!

your channel is the only pool personality available in youtube.
i'm an avid youtube watcher, not just pool. youtube does not have a single channel i can consider a real honest personality for pool. either the channel is strictly for match recordings, or instructional. maybe i'm leaving out snooker, i don't watch snooker too much.
you adding a genuine face to pool is valuable, does not matter your skill. at least there is value in the youtube/media realm, for sure!
it's not that people don't want to watch pros. if pros had channels and vlogged their personality, it would get so many hits. i would watch earl strickland vlogs if he started making them LOL

GREAT GAME!!! I watched Allison for decades. She is the woman version of Efren in pool circle, especially back in the days she was untouchable. She still is great and equally respectable. However, Siming is someone you can't help but adore. Unpretentious. She is a friendly, kind and humble young lady. On top of it all, a helluva player! She flew to the Philippines to search out Efren to play a few games of pool with him. Afterward, they both and the entourage went to a tea house to have some Dim Sum and talk pool. I wish Siming the best and smooth sailing in her tournaments.

Love Siming Chen. Her stroke is so pure and she plays w a ton of heart. I also love how respectful and humble she is. She’s Very much like Allison in these ways too. Fishers mechanics are so perfect.

3rd rack in, the rack severely shifted the position of the two ball. Not saying it’s a bad rack or that it isnt effective, but it definitely makes you wonder just how much these types of racks interfere with the natural path/speed of the balls on break. Would it be enough to change the outcome of a game?
Awesome match thanks for uploading. Can we get more commentary and less complaining about alternate break? I don’t like it either but I’d rather hear about the match.

I don't know if it's my you tube .... or if it's the editing... but the deeper I get into the video the more ahead the announcers are from the video... This is pretty annoying because they react to the shot just before I'm seeing it. Not a good thing. pretty annoying... but yes, I'm grateful that it's even recorded... and yes, I know I can turn the volume down, but I, for one, really like the commentary on this one... and Allison Fisher is one that I really, really love to watch.

Brian Lucas the ones with the commenting is a software used by Action Pool TV. The ones without I use my editing software Power Director 16.

Thanks for the post, FaDa Vlogs. I watch a lot of snooker and pool on TH-cam. Something I'd like to ask you, and everyone who uploads matches, is that you name the commentators in the notes below the title. I don't have enough experience yet to recognize them from their voices alone. Mr Hanson identifies himself right away, and also you when you come in, but we don't hear Mary Kenniston's name until 25 minutes in. I don't always have the time to watch matches from start to finish and I skip forward a lot.
I appreciate the rich explanation of ACD here, but if there was an explanation of match rules, I missed it. Nothing about alternating breaks, jump cues allowed or not, or what the coins were for (scorekeeping?). If I were to make up a style sheet for commentators, I would make them follow the same basic form here. It's just the basic rules of journalism: what, who, when, where, why, and how. All good sports announcing observes these basic guidelines, repeated from time to time during the contest.

Sync the audio, sucks to have the commentators say what happened before you see it.
This is an encoding issue which I tried to fix. I held of several weeks before I uploaded trying to figure it out. The audio is fine before rendering but after is when the issues pop up. There's some kind of glitch in the encoding where it jumps at multiple places. I've even switched editing softwares hoping to fix the issue. Guess this is better then nothing. ✌

Great match but the audio to video delay was horrendous.
There were some kind of encoding issue and I could not line the sound up. Tried for a while to resolve but could not. The rest will be the same. 🤔😞

FaDa Vlogs, FYI, I watch players a step above me because I can relate more to the strategy slowly progress just like on the table. Watching SVB run 8 on Earl doesn't help me as much as watching Shaun Wilkie and Shawn Morrow going at it.

Charles, unfortunately you don't understand the business side. You need sponsors so there is money to throw these events. Sponsors pay money for marketing and that's how they make their money. If there is no marketing, there is no money. No money, no event. Mentioning of the TH-cam channel is how they get exposure. You know you're watching this video on the channel being mentioned.

I thought this was going to go the other way. Anyways, it was nice of Allison to give her some advice after the match was over.
After the match, Allison told me this is the first time she has beat Siming out of 5 tries. If you didn't know, Siming is ranked #1 in the world for females in billiards.

Why do they show the score if they aren't going to keep ? 40 min, in, it's 4-2 not 1. At least the camerawork is good.
seeing this, i think there shouldn't be a different ranked system by gender, in cue sport man n women are equal. there's no significant physical advantage for man here. all professional competitions should also be open tournament for all gender
Completely agree. I don't see any advantage for either sex when it comes to performance at the table.
Actually sizes of pocket need to more small like chinese 8 ball pocket.
jeffry sunanto the only advantage I see is the breaks that men has over women. At their level, that's everything. Other then that, there should be no reason for them not to play together. Siming can definitely play in the men's tournament.
Put the best of each gender against each other and see what happens.
At the top levels it ain't even close, the male player population is so much bigger that the best of the best are fantastic players.
The worst part of commentary is when the commentators disagree about something for which none of the viewers care about !!

The commentary especially in this match is horrible. Between the I can't tell, talking about their playing when the players on the table are playing and missing shots. Why bother having especially these two doing the commentary!
