On highway 1L TSI gives 20+ with speed 85-90, at this speed AC on/off doesn't affect mileage. At 90-110 kmph you will get 18-19 l/km. You should use 95 octane fuel , IOC XP95.
Automatic or manual?
Planing to buy Virtus this month... this helps me a lot. Expecting 11-12 km/l in City and 18-19 km/l on Highway with cruise control. My Polo is giving me 15-16 in city and 18 on the highways.

@@rahulvarma7273 Thanks for the advice bro.... definitely 17 lakh is a considerable amount. Though during the test drive I didn't face such an issue. How will I check before taking the delivery of the car? while PDI they don't usually allow driving the car.

As polo is out, but this is only option now as a stable car.
In my polo petrol high line 2015 model I just completed 523 kms on 10 August 2022 from Delhi to a small city in Uttar Pradesh and on display it was showing 22.3 km/l. In general on long drives it gives in this range.

I am having this car and In traffic condition in Delhi it gives 14-15 mileage… and I drive normally.. not like amateurs who just like to rev it … and I had gone to Jaipur and back… and got approx - 19 to 20 km / l and and I was driving between 80-120 depending on road….. I don’t know how come u got 12-13…..

Use cruise control wisely. U can start applying it when the car shifts to 3rd gear.
Increases mileage by 1-1.5 kmpl.

If ground clearance doesn’t matter for you then you can think about CITY, both engines are good and punchy . Build quality of Virtus is better than the CITY.
Honda engines will be stable in providing the fuel efficiency even in long run.
The virtus starts rattling, power windows Android auto etc give problems after a year or two. Honda City is more reliable and has more comfort.
I am planning to buy virtus because of built, drive quality, looks n feel but bit concern for after sales and resale

VW 2.0 cars are better in terms of service costs. VW has also improved their after sales service. No idea about resale value since it's a new car, it should be good

@@ankitkothari1 Value for money is 1 litre Highline. It has all the features you need. If you want to buy Topline, go for manual. Topline has projector led, auto dimming irvm, rain sensing wiper, sunroof many extra features. Topline automatic is costly

I bought the Vw Virtus on 23rd july 2022, completed 1700 kms till 2nd august and reported a problem to service centre when i went in for swagat check up that the car is pulling to the left. They tried to solve the problem by exchanging front tyres, got back the car, problem was not solved, reported it back on 6th august. They confessed that the car is new and they don’t have any data for wheel alignment. I was called back on 11th august, i dropped my car and back to back 3 wheel alignments were done with trials, problem was not solved i tried showing the car 3rd party wheel alignment centres and they did not have the data for the car too, until now i had completed 3400 kms, now i had a indistrial vist to ahmedabad, mumbai, pune for which i travelled 2400 kms in my car and i face severe left shoulder pain in my trip for those 10 days, now i dropped my car again and 2 wheel alignments have been done again but the problem has not been solved as i went for the trial, service centre has opened up the disk of the car( which is a technical term of vw service centre to solve the issue via company ) service centre has acknowledged the issue now, but none of have the solution for this. Now as a part of doubt i went and took a test drive of both manual and automatic 1.0 demo cars and both of them were pulling to the left, which was shocking. As a part of doubt now i went to check skoda slavia and noticed that the car has same problem, till now i drove 4 cars and reported the same problem. See i have experience of around 2 lakh kms of driving in last 10 years in which i have driven 80kms on my VW Polo, so i have not faced an issue like this before. One suggestion came in as the road bankings are made on the left side so the car pulls on the left side but them someone suggest to drive the car wrong side on the same road and if car is pulling towards the divider, opposite to the banking, then the issue is serious, i did it. This is a serious issue and i have a tremendous shoulder pain. Writing this to big car channel, so that Vw should recognise this issue. Thank you🙏🏼

This is a perfect example of how NOT to fill up your gas tank. NEVER fill it to the brim as the liquid will flow into the vapour recovery system. This will destroy the EVAP system.
Deep saurabh no doubt actone 95 is very good fuel but , petrol bunk people doesn’t provide us original fuel . I always doubt about it that they will mix in it
No mention of which model, auto or manual. You can even see in the video whether it’s manual or auto. Really big miss in the video

My Polo 1.2 MPI NA 2015 ..gives me 16 plus on Highway and 12 plus in extreme traffic
Before testing the mileage the petrol pump from where you filled in the petrol had the rate 102.58 rs/ltr and at the end of the test ... The petrol pump has the rate of 96.59 rs/ltr ... The real avg is less than what was actually calculated !? Nyc video though keep up the good work.

He compared the volume of the fuel and the distance travelled and that's how he calculated the fuel efficiency (or what you call mileage); what he paid for the petrol has nothing to do with it 😀
My cousins Vw Virtus 1.0 manual gives 19.8 kmpl
lol my skoda slavia 1.5 dsg gives 12-14 in delhi ncr and around 19-20 on highways speeds around 85-100 with ac.. well on expressways in speed of around 110 also because of 2 cylinder deactivation mode.. same mileage with kausaq 1.5 dsg and virtus gt.. also i get mileage of 7-8 on short drives of less then 2 km or so. it has 2 cylinder deactivation on constant speeds and cruise mode means half engine turns of in 0.1 seconds and turns on in 0.1 seconds when you require overtaking on all gears 2nd to 7th and it is 148 bhp engine with 250 nm torque .. done 5000km ..and mileage incresed after crossing 2500 kms uptil 4000 km. initially i was dissapointed as for first 1000 km it gave 8-9 in city and 12-13 on highway.. but after 1000 km mileage increased by 2-3 kmpl..

Can you take the car on bad patches to see the ground clearance but it should be in one condition it should be a loaded car total 4 Pax and the boot is completely full. If the car can manage rough patches without scraping the underbelly then VW has done it!!!
I have already done it many times now. In 2.5 months. Nothing has touch my car underneath
I see Honda City decelerating on speed breakers and very bad patches. I just cruise and overtake city in virtus.😊
