Everytime I think I have my life together and that I have dealt with my trauma, I relapse. I feel like I am right back where I started. this poem is a reminder that pain brings growth .
"Baptism washes away the dirt of the past but fire cleanses the future, you can not see, dear fire, reinvent me, make this soil again good ground for harvest." Holy shit
In her lifetime, she fought many tough fires to create a safe and controllable space big enough for herself where she's finally at peace. But this safe place is constantly closing in on her. After trying so hard so many times to expand the boundaries of that peace zone, she's nearly broken and unable to fight anymore. She realizes she's not going to make the change she wants in this lifetime. If she chooses to continue fighting, it might speed up the burn in herself and her safe haven, so she's taking the less riskier route. She doesn't know if she will reincarnate like the phoenix. She's counting on the three boys (the future) who are baptized (better equipped) to extinguish the bigger fire, while she lives the "controlled burn" that's closing in on her. She needs patience because if she moves, she might light her safe haven on fire again.
Though fire does refines. As to the 3 Hebrew boys, that fire could not refine, their actions were divine. They stood their ground, the refused the food and the teachings of the king, which was insulting to the king of the land, but to the Almighty King most pleasing. In this case where fire would have killed them God shield them. Preserved their life for their integrity.
Because lemme tell you how deep this was for me... When your body understands what you hear before your mind does..? Wow.. I have no clue what this was about.. But my entire body tickles from my hairs standing at attention.. The ringing in my left ear is seriously deafening.. Much much love Alysia. #StillAFan
"Dear fire reinvent me, make this soil again good ground for a harvest."
