Even in the garden Adam in all his wisdom knew that partaking in the sinful act that Eve had done was wrong. Yet when Eve entered darkness due to her fall, Adam made a conscious decision to join her in the falling into darkness rather then remain in the glorious light of God. This strong love/need for companionship between man and woman can lead to mishap. Put God first in All things. This whole thing could have played out differently had Adam cried out to God to rescue Eve who hand stepped into evil quicksand.

Thank you Viva. Your thought adds another way to think on Adam & Eve. I never would have thought of this. Companionship, the human need that we have is very strong. And God also gave us that.

Thank you Pastor Paul for sharing. Also thanks for clearing up the point on the book of Ecclesiastes. I was not sure of which stage of Solomon's life he had departed from God in regards to his writings. This is quite amazing! You have partly answered a question I thought about earlier today. Should we still look to the book of Ecclesiastes for guidance, seeing as this was Solomon's lowest point in his relationship with God ? You pack so much additional information into these studies it really does flesh out the people involved and the events taking place.
Blessings to you and your family and your congregation.
All praises to The Most High.

Pastor great word but remember the conclusion Solomon made in Ecclesiastes 12:13. God teaches the thing that is not vanity and is the true lesson that Solomon learned which is the purpose of the book.

Pastor Paul’s teachings helps me better understand the confusing parts of the Bible, especially the Old Testament and makes me ponder things that never occurred to me before. Thank you.

Pastor Paul was Judah not left with Levi who were not apportioned land? I also see a great play of priesthood in Judah and I thought at the time authorised Priests were from the line of Levi. I ask because later I see Jehoiada playing a great priestly role in Joash's early reign, amongst other important priestly activeness.

I can learn alot from those first 4 verses of chapter 11. Women be my downfall following Christ. Be very tempting. I need a woman in Christ & takes Him seriously. If i dont get her, its fine bc i see the times we in. Nonetheless, praise be to Him for straightening me always. 🙏🏼

I have decades of God speaking to me but sometimes when life gets to feeling mundane or too busy, I can let the inspiration of those moments fade. People in the Bible are just as human.

Can somebody please help my confusion. I thought the Southern tribe was Judah and Simeon but it seems that Simeon is sometimes used interchangeably with Benjamin. I thought the tribe of Benjamin was part of the Northern Kingdom (Saul) and Judah the Southern Kingdom (David). To hear it used interchangeably I don't know If I'm confused or if it has always been that way. Any light someone can she on this would be very helpful and maybe it was an unintentional error on the part of some pastors I have heard preach on this chapter. I always listen to three because each one will bring out a perspective the others didn't (time limits) and this has completely confused me. (Edited: Changed Northern to Southern in the second sentence/top line.)

    Psalms 27:1
(A Psalm of David.) The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
    Jeremiah 23:6
In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
    Mark Chapter 9
25When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him.
26And the spirit cried, and rent him sore, and came out of him: and he was as one dead; insomuch that many said, He is dead.
    John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
    2 Timothy 1:7
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
    1 John 4:18
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

    The eleven tribes
I always was under the understanding that Father God had given ten tribes to The northern kingdom and one tribe to Solomon’s son
Because the tribe of Levi Father God had separated unto Himself as Priests.
At that time the LORD separated the tribe of Levi, to bear the ark of the covenant of the LORD, to stand before the LORD to minister unto him, and to bless in his name, unto this day. Deuteronomy 10:8🙏🏼

If you mean 'Gentiles' actually Jesus was condemned by the Jews and killed by the Gentiles as He foretold in Mark 10:33-34 33 saying, “See, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered over to the chief priests and the scribes, and they will condemn him to death and deliver him over to the Gentiles. And they will mock him and spit on him, and flog him and kill him. And after three days he will rise.”
