  • Here's my very first little experiment with Performance Samples' long awaited library "Pacific Solo Strings" (Yes, it's actually out!!!). The video features an improvised legato line with some simple accompaniment provided by Pacific Ensemble Strings. In the second half of the video you can hear the Solo Cello exposed and with no extra reverb.

    Thanks for the video! Did you use any CC at all? It sounds rather dull and unexciting, compared to the PS' screencasts. Can you do a video focused on the high note transitions? In the PS demos, they sound very portamento-like. I'm curious to know the exact range that triggers these strong slide transitions.

      I did - I used CC1 with the lowest points going down to 20 and the highest going up to 107.
      That's a good suggestion, I'll put it on the agenda!
