I just ordered one of these on Black Friday at Best Buy for $199! Incredible deal when you compare it to the iPad series's specs, and although it's not as up to date as the gorgeous Tab S series, it's a pretty good package for this broke college student lol. Watching this video has me thinking about how I'm going to use it for both work and play already and I can't wait until it comes in the mail :)
So far it's performing really well, hardly any lag and good for multitasking/streaming video. the only thing that's not that great is the battery life.
I've had mine for a little over a week and having previously owned an Ipad Mini Retina, Lg Gpad and Nexus 7 FHD, I can honestly say this Tab Pro out performs all of them and offers more features as well. I've experienced very little lag (let's be honest every tablet and phone experiences lag) and I'd highly recommend this tablet.
I used to have an Ipad mini, but got it stolen. Now it is time to replace it and I'm having the hardest time deciding between the mini or this Tab Pro. Can u please help me deciding by telling me what is it that you like best with the Pro compare to your mini? Thanks a lot!

I still have mine in black, it’s in mint condition, in a fully protective Otterbox case and I still use it. I also have an unlocked and rooted 2013 Nexus 7...2013/2014 was such a good time for tablets, they haven’t gotten much better since then. The only tablet I purchased since 2014 was last year when I bought the Amazon Fire HD8 because it was on sale for $50. I mostly use the Tab Pro 8.4, especially for media consumption and games. Was looking at buying Lenovo’s new m10 FHD tab but it still only has 2gb of ram unless I pay much extra for the 4gb! Tab Pro 8.4 still blows some of these new tabs out of the water!

Out of interest, why do you always review galaxies in white? I much prefer black as I think white looks cheap. Is it Samsung sends white review copies as they market them it white? Any answer would be appriciated .
I don't think color has anything to do with the tablet's performance just saying. Maybe the guy likes white a little better. I seriously don't see this as an issue.

I'd say probably about 7 hrs, but one of the Samsung reps at best buy reminded me to use, automatic brightness and power saving mode

The note 10.1 2014 edition is basically the same as the pro series minus the Hancom suite and it still has the menu button vs recent apps button.

the tab pro is 7.2 mm thin while the ipad mini retina is 7.5 mm thin so the galaxy is thinner and they weight the same 331g

Yep - I'm just finding it hard to let go of that stylus and the freedom it affords you to mark up photos, screen shots, jot notes etc...
You can always buy a separate stylus
