Yeah HT have been on their game for awhile now. Paint apps improved - ratchet bodies etc. But, 2012 was a very exciting time - they had more variety. I prefer 2012 HT tbh.
But yeah - this figure is a real beauty. I never picked him up but i wish i had as i remember him hanging around awhile if i'm not mistaken? That bike is also sick for 1999! lol

I ordered this guy from sideshow when he first came out in 2012 for 225 I believe, ended up selling him for 240 for some reason, regretted and bought him again for 250 in 2014. Glad I did, second favorite cap. I actually had the bike too, I bought it for $50 bucks on eBay in box with GI Joe it came with. That also sold off but never got again. I do recommend. Thanks for doing a video on him! Awesome.

Interestingly, the Jim Gordon SWAT Version has the same type of packaging and was also a 2012 Toy Fair Exclusive. I guess all of the toy fair exclusives were given similar packaging that year.

Thanks for the review. That was my first Hot Toys figure. Glad you included the motorcycle in your review. There is very similar one made by ZSMD that's a it more detailed and sells for a few hundred (if you can ever find one); I always thought that was what you had when I saw them in the background. Glad to know there is a cheaper version out there that looks pretty good. Just might try to pick one up.
Great review. I found the same bike last year for $50 still in its box. I got it just for my Rescue Cap hoping they would go great together. If you’re looking for the bike it’s a GI Joe Classic Collection US Army Courier & WLA 45 Harley Davidson.

I’m super big fun of cap.. one time I really wanted this cap but I would pass because of the premium price and potential material issues. As you said, that’s excellent that you don’t get any torn on the jacket. However, winter soldier hot toys’ jacket(2014) easily gets torn. So I would pass sadly. Good for you I’m happy that you got the cap !

Great review. I actually got this one from your review today (July 22nd), original. I had in my collection a custom one, using a Hot Toys body, Cap Avengers Hot Toys’ Steve Rogers head and a kit I bought separately with the clothing, helmets and accessories. Regarding the bike, I have a camouflaged one, Indian as well. But my bike and yours wouldn’t be more movie accurate paired with Hot Toys Cap First Avenger and not the Rescue Version? In the movie when he’s using this Rescue uniform he doesn’t ride any bikes. Kudos from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. 🇧🇷
Jedha i always get fearful getting hot toys with leather.. How do you fix or prevent leather tear due to the humidity of the country ? Also, how do you clean dust from the figure especially when there is leather involved.
