I imagine that it's pretty cold out there in Minnesota and after that surgery I'm sure the cold must have some effect on it. I won't worry until God forbid, we get a team announcement that he is injured.
I truly hope you're right about this, but was concerning for a number of insiders to note. But since he's not on the injury report and played 40 minutes last night, I'm going to wait for more information on this. Thank you for watching and commenting. A lot of people thought I was saying he was injured. 🫡
@@TheKnicksRecap I didn't think you were saying he was injured at all. With his past season injury I can see the concern and hopefully it's just precaution in case he takes a hit or a fall. Things are looking better and hopefully once Shamet and Mitch get back things will be even better. Let go Knicks!
Listen, as long as he is on the court doing his thing on defense right now. I dont mind his offense taking a slump as long as his defense backs it up. He will get it together as time goes on.
True talk, very happy his defense is looking good. And continues to look good. Hard not to notice the offensive issues and the wrap. But he's not on the injury report at all and defense looks good. Might be minor if nothing else.
So much for scaring the public about an injury because he has a little tape on his elbow… Dude went 12 in a row on fire today. Stop the propaganda bro, Cap cap cap…
This is exactly what I mentioned as well. It's definitely something to think about. But not on the injury report. So that's great, I just hope this isn't anything serious.
Man, we can't seem to catch a break!!! I hope OG is just having a little stiffness in his elbow if something other than that I am glade it's earlier in the season then later. Next man up would be Precious.
If the Knicks were smart they would try to keep both OG and Kat to around 32 minutes a game if they can. No need to over extend these guys in the regular season...
They need to give him a break people are forgetting that we only human beings We are not invincible Their are other players in the roster that can fill in for his place for so he can rest
Explain to me why are 90s player durable. Most of 90s players played 82 games 40 Minutes+ didnt get injured. Players now are soft because they take a break and do load management.
The "Injury Bug" 🪲🧑⚕️ is hitting on again OG like before. If HC Thibs wants to keep his job, give his injury players some rest like OG early. Knicks Fans don't want to see another sad ending playoffs lost again. 🤧😢😡
HC Thibs should rely more on his bench players. The Knicks starters can easily be "OVERWORKED" that will lead to " Serious Injury" 🤕. We don't want to see 👀 that.
Won't be able to unfortunately, loved watching the game. But won't have have time until much later, doubt it would be relevant at that time. But I appreciate you looking forward to those break downs.
He looked better last night but I'm hoping he doesn't need the wrap all season. Looking forward to getting more information on that soon. Thanks for watching!
I hope your right Mark! But quarter way back into the season and he's wearing the sleeve again. On the same elbow that had surgery. I think it's worth a level of concern. Appreciate the comment.
Knicks as a team have been pretty lucky this season when it comes to injuries to starting players. For the Knicks five starters: Brunson, Towns, Anunoby, Bridges and Hart - that unit as a group has only lost a total of 3 games to injury (Towns has missed 2 and Hart has missed 1). Looking at the entire Eastern Conference, New York is one of only three teams that hasn't lost a single starter for more than 5 games that the team has played this year. Count your blessings Knicks fans. Here's a running tally of all the Eastern Conference starters who have sat for more than 5 games so far this season. For Boston Porzingus has missed 19 games. For Cleveland Max Strus has missed 28 games. For Orlando Paolo Banchero has missed 25 games and now Franz Wagner is out indefinitely (he just missed his 5th game last night). For Milwaukee Khris Middleton has missed 21 games. For Miami Jimmy Butler has missed 6 games. For Indiana Andrew Nembhard has missed 14 games. For Chicago Patrick Williams has missed 10 games. For Philadelphia Embiid has missed 19 games, Paul George has missed 10 games, and Maxey has missed 6 games. For Brooklyn Cam Thomas has missed 11 games, Finney-Smith has missed 9 and Claxton has missed 6. For Toronto Scottie Barnes has missed 13 and Quickley has missed 25. For Washington Kuzma has missed 14 and Brogdon has missed 15 and for Charlotte Lamelo Ball has missed 18, Brandon Miller has missed 6, Miles Bridges has missed 14 and Nick Richards has missed 15. Remember the players mentioned above are all starters for their respective teams. The Knicks join only Atlanta and Detroit who have haven't had any starter miss more than 5 games yet this season. This is with Tommy Thibs playing the Knicks starters heavy minutes just like he has always coached his teams. Remember all the injuries last year? Those are coming again just watch. When you look across the Eastern Conference and you are honest about the situation, you can't deny that the Knicks have been pretty damn lucky so far this season but here's the million-dollar question. How long do you think the good luck is going to last? Thibs is playing the starters heavy minutes because the bench as a whole is not Championship caliber. Honest assessment. The Knicks bench scored a total of 6 points last night against the Pelicans. How many minutes did the starters play? Bridges played 45 minutes, Hart played 42, Brunson played 40, Anunoby played 37 and Towns played only 27 thanks to foul trouble. If the coach feels that he has to play the starters that many minutes just to secure a win against a team missing Zion and Brandon Ingram, what is going to happen when one or more of the Knicks starters gets injured and ends up missing 10 plus games? You can only burn the candle at both ends for so long. Did you see what happened to Mo Wagner for the Orlando Magic last night? Non-contact injury where he crumbled to the ground, was helped off and didn't return. Sooner or later, it's going to be the Knicks turn to get bad news and then what? When you play a guy 45 out of 48 minutes you are tempting fate. Human beings all have a breaking point.
We definitely have to thank the lucky stars we've avoided pretty serious injuries thus far. But we need to make sure this keeps up by ensuring proper minutes management. Appreciate the comment.
Great comment but I have to call out a slight contradiction. You said thibs playing starters a few more minutes a game is going to cause injury but all those other players around the league are injured and don’t play those minutes. One of the healthiest teams, is thibs team. Last year Randle got tackled in the air in fell on his shoulder. Not because of minutes. Mitch is always hurt and averages 27 minutes for his career. OG was always injured in TOR even with less minutes. I’m kind of tired of this attack on thibs when in reality injuries are unpredictable and the best way to avoid them, is conditioning. JB high minute player, not injury prone. Hart, Mikal,Divo all high minute players not injury prone. I’m just saying there’s really no evidence to support playing 37 minutes vs 33 minutes will cause more injuries. Especially when these guys are practicing, doing drills, running, working out for 20-40 a week at least. It just doesn’t add up 🤷🏻♂️
@@PatriotsAndTruth Thibbs is a good regular season coach but a away better assistant coach. I respect what he done with turning the NYK around from laughing stock to playoff. With that said he never corrected his flaws.
I hope it's nothing too serious! He's not in the injury report so we likely don't have to worry yet. But seeing that on his surgically repaired elbow, absolutely concerned me. Appreciate the comment as always Susan.
I been saying og not max player he finnesed us badly always injured shows up once n blue moon Duce McBride deserves his money he deserves Duce McBride contract
I don't think they will make a trade right now. They might be looking at options but the winning lately. How we are winning, it could be changing things. Thanks for watching!
Don't worry until you have to worry
I truly hope it's nothing. But the shot and now with the wrap. I truly hope everything is okay with him. Because we truly need him out there.
Hopefully it's just protection to keep his elbow safe from injury

Thibs has to get OG off the bench, let him rest and not let him play off the bench for more than 40 minutes.
I think when we can rest him, we should. Especially if he's dealing with anything. Thanks for watching!

Here we go.
Trooooooyyyy!!!!!!!!!!! Keep it up!
Knicks head couch is playing his starter to minuts
You hope he doesn’t get hurt
But the wrap is a concern.
OG is strong, but at some point, Knicks gotta be concern with him.
Agreed. This hopefully isn't anything serious. But can't help but notice it, especially it being in the elbow that had surgery.
I wonder if that’s why his shooting has been off for last couple weeks ?
This is exactly what I mentioned as well. It's definitely something to think about. But not on the injury report. So that's great, I just hope this isn't anything serious.
@ I just thought he was in a shooting slump hopefully it’s not any serious.
I think is only to protect the elbow from injury again
I am concerned about his elbow. Maybe he should wear it just to give him more support for the rest of the season.
OG just had a monster against the Raptors. No worries.
His offense has gone way down. He’s now shooting 23% from the 3. I’m worried. He’s playing 40+ minutes a night.
Man, we can't seem to catch a break!!! I hope OG is just having a little stiffness in his elbow if something other than that I am glade it's earlier in the season then later. Next man up would be Precious.
Playing a short rotation will do that

It’s too cold for the metal in his arm rn to not hurt
I hope this is the case! 🙏🏾🫡

Thibs is running them into the ground as always. Bound to happen.
😢It is not easy to come off of surgery without any holistic intervention.
Acupuncture is needed.
This is true but he's been off of that surgery. If it's still a problem now, I'd be a bit shocked. Thanks for the comment.
We need wing depth regardless
Could always use more wings. We have a talented one in the G-League right now.

We don't want to see 👀 that.
I hope it's not a Concern
Time to bring back Anne Hathaway 😂 OG will bring back his sweet jump shots I promise
😂😂😂😂
Starters playing too many minutes ‘ the couch has to play the bench little more ‘ too many minutes are putting alot of toll on starters
We don’t need him to score so he should take a break from shooting
We definitely need him to be a threat! But I rather him be out than play with any lingering issues. Appreciate the comment!
WE ALL KNOW IT WAS COMING SOONER OR LATER
I hope it's nothing serious, not on the injury report. But you never like to see this. Hope it's something minor, for precautionary reasons. 🙏🏾
Do a Knicks vs pels reaction vid plz

I hope it's nothing that serious. I appreciate the comment!
Og shot been flat, still hit 2 3s. I'm good with that.
He looked better last night but I'm hoping he doesn't need the wrap all season. Looking forward to getting more information on that soon. Thanks for watching!
And he gets $44 million a year. Did not take a discount
He's worth every penny though. He's been playing too well. Normally on both sides of the ball.
@ yes when healthy. This injury will be a chronic occurrence
He's fine, nothing to see here.
I hope your right Mark! But quarter way back into the season and he's wearing the sleeve again. On the same elbow that had surgery. I think it's worth a level of concern. Appreciate the comment.
