Theres something genuinely beautiful about Molar Mike slowly drifting away from his ship like Major Tom only to suddenly clip back inside and die in an explosion.

I spent more time downloading it than I did watching it. I spent exponentially more time watching Adam Savages extended ad for it then I did the actual game.
I thought it was nice.
I really hope Bethesda takes these lessons to heart and in Elder Scrolls VI the first room contains one character at a quarter scale, and another at two-times scale
I expect a canonical metal husband, milk powder can baby, and Roachy the Dancing Roach.
I'm sure Bethesda will be chomping at the bit to make these spoiled brats happy after they just spent 2 full videos stomping all over their game.

Honestly makes me heartsick for what Starfield could have been. I spent 80 hours in it trying to convince myself it would click, but it never did. What a shame.
Starfield never could have been anything, it's a Bethesda game. I don't understand how Bethesda fans keep gaslighting themselves into thinking the _next_ Bethesda game will _definitely_ actually be A Actual Video Game, they're like Sonic fans but without the self-awareness

For all their issues the previous Bethesda games all were competent, entertaining games at least.
Oblivion is my favourite game of all time, even Fallout 4 had some really great stuff in it.
Starfield is the outlier and i hope they learned from it.

I'm not a mega fan, but Bethesda's development and publishing arms have quite a few great games on their rosters. I don't think it's correct to say Starfield was doomed from the start. But now that we've seen it, I think the biggest flaw is their approach to travel/navigation. Maybe it was the engine or maybe just a bad design decision early on.
@@joaocreature I totally agree, and that's not even considering some of their publishing efforts like Dishonored, Doom, Wolfenstein, and Ghostwire. Fallout 76 and Starfield have really hurt their reputation, and deservedly so. I think it's time for new leadership and a new engine.
@@TurbopropPuppy Skyrim was literally an industry standard in excellence that broke dozens of all time records immediately after Oblivion, the game with Sir Patrick Stewart as the narrator, broke hundreds of industry records. Before that? Morrowind. The game that made everyone learn the words "Open World RPG" These games have been the gold standard of excellence for generations.
They released Fallout 76 and Starfield, yes, but don't pretend they didn't raise a whole generation on their games.
The way The Plaque Blaster's eyes seem to close just as Griffin starts to sing Space Oddity is really poetic
I saw so little of Starfield that at first I thought the powers Molar Mike was displaying were all some physics breaking mod pack. But no they just straight up made space dragonborn, huh?

I love every Monster Factory, but there are some I watch and instantly know it'll be one of my all time favorites. Toot drifting away to Space Oddity instantly put this one into that category.
Being able to clip out of your ship and shoot your gun at the UC fleet seems very canon to the plot of this game.
"Don't even act like it doesn't have the things that you need" is a great pitch for anything that you're trying to sell but still aren't sure on some of the details regarding what exactly the thing itself in fact is

Won't say it's flawless, but I got my money's worth and will continue to go back to it because of the modding environment. It's sad how predictable people are with reactionary rage towards a video game. It's either 0 or 100 with no room for a nuanced opinion.
I suggest you stick to simply speaking for yourself.

I'm not speaking for others. I just had the same experience a lot of people had with this game. I was excited for it, but when it came out it was just kinda meh. I really tried to convince myself it was gonna get interesting after this next quest, but it just never did.
The boys NEED to get their hands on Baldurs Gate 3...just think of the possibilities 😯
They would need mods to do enough monstering in the character creator, it's pretty vanilla. Also idk about other baldur's gate fans but I would want to watch them play it for 100 hrs rather than just 30 mins 😂
