I spent more time downloading it than I did watching it. I spent exponentially more time watching Adam Savages extended ad for it then I did the actual game.

Starfield never could have been anything, it's a Bethesda game. I don't understand how Bethesda fans keep gaslighting themselves into thinking the _next_ Bethesda game will _definitely_ actually be A Actual Video Game, they're like Sonic fans but without the self-awareness
@@TurbopropPuppy I feel like this is overly harsh. For all their issues the previous Bethesda games all were competent, entertaining games at least. Oblivion is my favourite game of all time, even Fallout 4 had some really great stuff in it. Starfield is the outlier and i hope they learned from it.

I'm not a mega fan, but Bethesda's development and publishing arms have quite a few great games on their rosters. I don't think it's correct to say Starfield was doomed from the start. But now that we've seen it, I think the biggest flaw is their approach to travel/navigation. Maybe it was the engine or maybe just a bad design decision early on.

Before that? Morrowind. The game that made everyone learn the words "Open World RPG" These games have been the gold standard of excellence for generations. They released Fallout 76 and Starfield, yes, but don't pretend they didn't raise a whole generation on their games.

I love every Monster Factory, but there are some I watch and instantly know it'll be one of my all time favorites. Toot drifting away to Space Oddity instantly put this one into that category.
"Don't even act like it doesn't have the things that you need" is a great pitch for anything that you're trying to sell but still aren't sure on some of the details regarding what exactly the thing itself in fact is

They would need mods to do enough monstering in the character creator, it's pretty vanilla. Also idk about other baldur's gate fans but I would want to watch them play it for 100 hrs rather than just 30 mins 😂
