    more respect to you sir 😊 my med school can't teach as quarter as good as you can.
    Funny enough my teacher can't even tell a border from a vertex and lateral to medial. But she's here to teach us gross anatomy. And the people here blame anatomy for beinge a 'tough' subject. Where in reality it's really not and THIS is the correct way to teach anatomy not memorize words from a text book.
    Anatomy is beautiful to me, thanks to you sir. 👏

    you can use book "o.f p.s.a.l.m.s" as an acronym - occipital, facial, posterior auricular, superior thyroid, ascending pharyngeal, lingual, maxillary, superficial temporal ..hope that helps too :)

    You will be surprised how often on sonography this classic picture comes wrong with anatomic variations! The situation at times is so confusing that the sonographer has to look at waveforms and do acrobatics such as squeezing of superficial Temporal artery to see if it is the right artery or not. yesterday for example I saw the ICA be the curved one and the external was the straight one totally in reverse of what shows here.

      it's the transverse facial artery which is a branch of superficial temporal artery it anastomoses with the facial artery
