I love this "crazy gringo!" I really really appreciate Sammy very very much, as a person first of all and as a musician. He was so good for Van Halen after they split with David Lee Roth. I saw VH with Sammy as their new singer in 1986 at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas, NV. Great showman, musician and businessman. I love it. Great human being. He's started many successful business's. Construction, fire sprinklers, Hotel, travel agencies, bike shop, booze and restaurants of course. He puts family members in charge of a lot of them too. He seems like a really laid back guy, but he's been a very successful entrepreneur.

Hey Sam , how come you didn't tell the whole story about why you cancelled the Anchorage Alaska concert to promote the 5150 album ? Sam did a concert in Anchorage Alaska while he promoted his VOA album . During the concert he said he'd be back . After the show , he found out he didn't sellout and the 2faced diva told the sports arena office manager he'd never play in Alaska ever again and the crybaby never came back . Van Halen didn't show up til Gary was the lead singer . Now , at the time , noone in the band never mentioned why they never came up with Sam . Why ? The Van Halen Bros aren't a couple of 2faced narcissist backstabbing snitches . You don't rat out on your friends for any reason . Sammy is a rat .
