We could make a petition asking TT Games to make a Sequel. They might just listen to us, I mean, I feel like TT Games knows that fans miss the game. And here’s my idea, they announce Lego Dimensions ll and at the same time they announce a more approachable version of the first game, one that’s not toys to life, we could not only have all of the existing characters, but they can add some very requested ones that people have been wanting like the Flash, Tails, the rest of the Mystery Inc gang, etc... There might be a problem trying to translate the toy pad puzzles, but I do think it’s possible. I would like to give some ideas of what franchises could join Lego Dimensions ll: -Steven universe, Team Fortress 2 and The Beatles yellow submarine are franchises that I would love to see.

I emailed a lego employee if they were planning on making a second LEGO dimensions game. In the reply they said this. “Our designers are working on hundreds of ideas and that might well be one of them...”
I got Lego Dimensions on day 1 pretty much because I thought it was such a cool concept. When I heard it was cancelled I was kinda heartbroken. Since then I've pretty much had about 4 years to think of a sequel for the game. And after all this time I've finally gotten a rough idea of what it could be. First things first, (I just realized I feel like I'm gonna write an essay right now) I don't want the sequel to start off with the same trio from the last game. I would make the sequel with a new trio, but the original 3 would return later on in the game. The 3 new characters would come from these separate franchises. Minecraft, Super Mario and Marvel (Marvel Cinematic Universe specifically). From the land made entirely out of blocks would be Steve and his abilities that people already know are sword switches, grapple with his lead, swimming underwater but for only a limited time like actual Minecraft, and target. For his original abilities that I came up with he would have his pickaxe, axe and shovel and he can use those to mine certain chunks of Minecraft's land in other dimensions. And he has Minecraft master build where he would build certain things out of blocks. Also while playing as Steve on the bottom of the screen would appear a lego version of the Minecraft hot bar and in it he would have items like his sword, pickaxe, bow, food, and blocks and other items you collect from mining with the pickaxe or axe or the shovel. To switch through items it would work like Gamer Kid and his soda's. In his inventory he also has a crafting table which is a new ability I forgot to mention called... well, Crafting. you can craft things using various blocks and items you collected from mining or cutting down trees. He also has the ability to smelt. His hearts would the 8-bit hearts that they use in Minecraft. Now that I'm done with Steve let's move on to the character from a world full of superheroes and villains from different planets and universes probably. It's Spiderman. Spiderman would work like he does in other Marvel lego games. He would have agility, grapple, he could swing in the air, his spider-sense would be present, but this is the Marvel Cinematic Universe Spiderman so if you hold down triangle on Playstation, Y on Xbox or X on Switch he can switch between his Iron Spider suit, his Shield Stealth suit and the suit he makes at the end of Spiderman Far From Home. The Iron Spider suit is Stark tech so I would presume that you could go underwater with it. The stealth suit gives him the stealth ability and the red and black suit would give him electric webs or the ability to use electricity. Now you wouldn't be able to use all of the suits immediately, you would have to unlock them throughout the story first. His hearts would the one's they used in Lego Marvel Superheroes. The last character is from a land that's probably in a plumber's head after he probably got really high off of mushrooms one day. This character might be a bit of an odd choice because it is Luigi. I have always been a bigger fan Luigi than Mario and that's why I made him a main character in my concept. His character isn't just Mario but it's Luigi. Instead Luigi is a completely unique character because he comes with his Poltergust G-00. With his Poltergust he can Illuminate dark areas. For his new abilities he can burst by double jumping and if you hold down circle on Playstation or B on xbox or A on switch then it opens up a little wheel like Finn the Human and shows the other abilities that his "Vacuum" has like suck, blow, strobulb, dark-light light device and suction shot. If you select blow or suck those are pretty straight forward with what they are used for. If you hold or press or tap square on Playstation, X on Xbox or Y on switch, that's how you use the abilities on the wheel. When you use suck you can suck up lego bricks, studs, collectibles and ghosts from any dimensions. This means that Luigi can suck up ghosts from Super Mario, Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters (2016). Blow does the exact opposite of suck. It blows things away and can clear you a path sometimes. The Strobulb, when used, stuns ghosts and to suck them up you don't have switch to the suck ability. All you have to do is get close enough to the ghosts and then press square, X, or Y and Luigi will start sucking. While the ghosts are being tortured by Luigi's vacuum you can press Square, X, or Y again to slam the ghosts into the ground to inflict more damage on them before they get sucked into the Poltergeist G-00. The Dark-Light device is another useful item to Luigi because it will reveal things that are hidden by spirit balls. To find something that was hidden by spirit balls think about the magenta dots that glowed when you needed the detection ability for Wyldstyle in Lego Dimensions except think of the dots as being rainbow colored and you need to use Luigi for it. You can also tell if something is missing by looking at a mirror or a reflection in water. The Suction Shot is a projectile that you shoot using the aim button. The Suction Shot is a plunger so it can stick to flat surfaces or enemies heads. Once you shoot it on too one these things you can suck on to the rope of the plunger like the ghosts. You get close enough to it and then you automatically suck it up and press square, X, or Y to slam it on to the ground. The final ability that Luigi has is Gooigi. To use Gooigi you hold the button that let's you switch characters and like the ghostbusters, you can switch to Gooigi. Gooigi has the same abilities as Luigi. Suck, Blow, Burst, etc. Gooigi is a little different because he can slip through bars and spikes and grates. Luigi's hearts are the hearts that replenish your health in Super Mario Odyssey. I'm pretty sure that's all I have to say for now. Hopefully you like my ideas and thanks reading this for whatever reason.
The different dimensions of adventure worlds is what makes it the most unique Lego game compared to everything else. So please, hear me out and if someone who is reading this works for lego. Make our dream come true, not just for me, but for everyone else.
I would say for a story line they can travel through time and fight the new vortech in a war and it can be the entire multiverse vs lord vortech and his army! It could be like infinity war when they thought the Thanos army!
At Christmas 2015 I got LEGO dimensions and a ps3 and this game was awesome yes I didn’t have marvel,Star Wars,Indiana Jones, and many others but it brought many fantasy’s alive like having Batman meet the ninjas from Ninjago. I remember after beating the story my friend would come over and we would make our own stories and they were awesome. This is why I love lego games cause they bring movies,tv,comics,and sometimes original stories(LEGO city undercover) to life. I especially love this game cause so many franchises were in it and allowed me to play as so many characters and so many possible story’s to make. Plz make LEGO dimensions 2
How Lego dimensions should return If it is like the first one (needing to buy the figures) it could be awesome if all the LEGO Dimensions figures were compatible with Dimensions 2. Or, even better, they erase that and now all the characters will be playable as long as you progress in the story.
I REALLY REALLY wanted Pokémon, Marvel and Star Wars to be part of Lego Dimensions and I enjoyed the game because of characters from other universes teaming together and interacting
I think that in LEGO dimensions 2 if it happens I would want to have a character customizer where they have a thing in the game where you use a picture and makes it where You that’s right YOU in the game would be awesome
I wish they didn’t end the game I remember getting it for Christmas and I cried in tears of joy because I really wanted it and I remember the times I’ve played it and had some really good memories with that game and I still play it til today
I also remember getting it, everything's disassembled now and my brother has all the parts gathered in boxes and stuff so I'll probably never be able to get to play it again
Without Lego dimensions, I never would have watched back to the future or Ghostbusters or Jurassic World or almost any of the other movie s ! We need another game; their so fun!
Here’s an idea for dimensions if they brought it back. Instead of the toy pad how about the use of the character wheel. Yeah when you enter a keystone area you can use the character wheel and it it split into 3 sides with the three colors respectively.
I think we should work to get a remastered version of lego dimensions as a digital only game. The game will eventually be unplayable due to the bases corrupting (a few of mine have already...). A sequel would be nice but theres a saying that "we already have this game and can play it as much as we want". For this game this is not technically true. Preserving the game is really important rn
Yeah they NEED to re release this game but without all the expansion pack and toypad nonsense and then make a sequel picking up where everything left off.
I really want a new game.. The lego dimensions was an awsomr game, and even my dad liked it! Wich made us able to play games together for once, but we also liked collecting characters alot. We collected alot.. Wich aslo makes me want a toy-pad and characters again! So i also can use the old once while also geyting new once

Lego Dimensions is my most favorite Lego video game of all time. I really hope that the game makes a comeback gets a Year 3 one day. And I really hope that Godzilla (2014/2019/2020) will be a playable character in Year 3, Godzilla's my most favorite titan from the MonsterVerse franchise.
Hope that if they did make a lego dimensions 2 I would hope that they would do away with purchasing the characters (except additional add on characters that you can purchase ) but have a character roster that would allow you to have all the characters from the first game plus newer characters and to create your own character like in the other lego games
Edit and I hope that if they put a speedster in like the flash they could do kinda what they did in lego avengers for quicksilver and have a button that lets you go faster because with sonic you would constantly hit things and got too fast

I maybe the one who wants LEGO Dimensions as the next guy but if they’re going to continue the sequel, which they confirmed somehow like what 3 years ago, it’s going to be really difficult to bring back old characters (both already existing figures for LEGO dimensions, and new redesigned figures for the sequel.) Batman is obliviously going to come back, but The LEGO movie is now under Universal and... aside from two PSA videos & the Unikitty series... they’re sort of dead cause of Universal (as from what we know so far, we don’t know if Warner Bros is trying bring back the franchise or if Universal is now making Their own LEGO movies.), and Lord Of The Rings hasn’t been active after a few games, it’s going to be really difficult to bring back these characters (both using already existing figures & redesigned characters.).
If lego dimensions were to have a sequel I would love it if their was an avengers end game style team up and final battle where a big team of all hero from all the dimensions of years 1 and 2 (along with whatever additional franchises get thrown into the mix) lead by Sonic and the Doctor to help batman, wyldstyle and gandalf fight lord vortech while protecting the old and new foundation elements. HOWEVER, I don't see a dimensions 2 happening because warner brothers gave up the licensing for new lego related entertainment to universal, so that's going to present a problem.
I agree about bringing back but I disagree about making it like every other Lego game because that’s what made it great it was different if anything get them to make them cheaper

To find something that was hidden by spirit balls think about the magenta dots that glowed when you needed the detection ability for Wyldstyle in Lego Dimensions except think of the dots as being rainbow colored and you need to use Luigi for it. You can also tell if something is missing by looking at a mirror or a reflection in water. The Suction Shot is a projectile that you shoot using the aim button. The Suction Shot is a plunger so it can stick to flat surfaces or enemies heads. Once you shoot it on too one these things you can suck on to the rope of the plunger like the ghosts. You get close enough to it and then you automatically suck it up and press square, X, or Y to slam it on to the ground. The final ability that Luigi has is Gooigi. To use Gooigi you hold the button that let's you switch characters and like the ghostbusters, you can switch to Gooigi. Gooigi has the same abilities as Luigi. Suck, Blow, Burst, etc. Gooigi is a little different because he can slip through bars and spikes and grates. Luigi's hearts are the hearts that replenish your health in Super Mario Odyssey.

I would say for a story line they can travel through time and fight the new vortech in a war and it can be the entire multiverse vs lord vortech and his army! It could be like infinity war when they thought the Thanos army!
At Christmas 2015 I got LEGO dimensions and a ps3 and this game was awesome yes I didn’t have marvel,Star Wars,Indiana Jones, and many others but it brought many fantasy’s alive like having Batman meet the ninjas from Ninjago. I remember after beating the story my friend would come over and we would make our own stories and they were awesome. This is why I love lego games cause they bring movies,tv,comics,and sometimes original stories(LEGO city undercover) to life. I especially love this game cause so many franchises were in it and allowed me to play as so many characters and so many possible story’s to make. Plz make LEGO dimensions 2

How Lego dimensions should return
If it is like the first one (needing to buy the figures) it could be awesome if all the LEGO Dimensions figures were compatible with Dimensions 2.
Or, even better, they erase that and now all the characters will be playable as long as you progress in the story.
I REALLY REALLY wanted Pokémon, Marvel and Star Wars to be part of Lego Dimensions and I enjoyed the game because of characters from other universes teaming together and interacting
I think that in LEGO dimensions 2 if it happens I would want to have a character customizer where they have a thing in the game where you use a picture and makes it where You that’s right YOU in the game would be awesome
Maybe if they made it so when you buy characters, you get parts from them or their world. Really cool idea though
I wish they didn’t end the game I remember getting it for Christmas and I cried in tears of joy because I really wanted it and I remember the times I’ve played it and had some really good memories with that game and I still play it til today
I also remember getting it, everything's disassembled now and my brother has all the parts gathered in boxes and stuff so I'll probably never be able to get to play it again

Here’s an idea for dimensions if they brought it back. Instead of the toy pad how about the use of the character wheel. Yeah when you enter a keystone area you can use the character wheel and it it split into 3 sides with the three colors respectively.

I think we should work to get a remastered version of lego dimensions as a digital only game. The game will eventually be unplayable due to the bases corrupting (a few of mine have already...). A sequel would be nice but theres a saying that "we already have this game and can play it as much as we want". For this game this is not technically true. Preserving the game is really important rn

Lego Dimensions is my most favorite Lego video game of all time. I really hope that the game makes a comeback gets a Year 3 one day. And I really hope that Godzilla (2014/2019/2020) will be a playable character in Year 3, Godzilla's my most favorite titan from the MonsterVerse franchise.
I would be on board for asking the Lego group to bring it back.
Hope that if they did make a lego dimensions 2 I would hope that they would do away with purchasing the characters (except additional add on characters that you can purchase ) but have a character roster that would allow you to have all the characters from the first game plus newer characters and to create your own character like in the other lego games
Edit and I hope that if they put a speedster in like the flash they could do kinda what they did in lego avengers for quicksilver and have a button that lets you go faster because with sonic you would constantly hit things and got too fast

My favourite thing is the amount of things for gamers.
I maybe the one who wants LEGO Dimensions as the next guy but if they’re going to continue the sequel, which they confirmed somehow like what 3 years ago, it’s going to be really difficult to bring back old characters (both already existing figures for LEGO dimensions, and new redesigned figures for the sequel.) Batman is obliviously going to come back, but The LEGO movie is now under Universal and... aside from two PSA videos & the Unikitty series... they’re sort of dead cause of Universal (as from what we know so far, we don’t know if Warner Bros is trying bring back the franchise or if Universal is now making Their own LEGO movies.), and Lord Of The Rings hasn’t been active after a few games, it’s going to be really difficult to bring back these characters (both using already existing figures & redesigned characters.).

If lego dimensions were to have a sequel I would love it if their was an avengers end game style team up and final battle where a big team of all hero from all the dimensions of years 1 and 2 (along with whatever additional franchises get thrown into the mix) lead by Sonic and the Doctor to help batman, wyldstyle and gandalf fight lord vortech while protecting the old and new foundation elements.
HOWEVER, I don't see a dimensions 2 happening because warner brothers gave up the licensing for new lego related entertainment to universal, so that's going to present a problem.
