  • Spend a morning bobber doggin' with Jason Hambly, Steve Leonard and Steve & James Lynch of Pro-Cure. Learn effective bead fishing techniques with soft beads such as Thirsty Beads. The Sandy River is just east of Portland, OR and historically one of Oregon's premier steelhead rivers. Then, get a lesson on hover fishing at the mouth of the Deschutes River on the Columbia for fall run Chinook Salmon.

    Just got back from a long business trip to New York. I needed a fresh steelhead episode like this to watch while enjoying a cold beer. Another great show! Thank you Justin!!!

    Most of the reruns are caught by sea lions, thanks anyway.

    I wonder how many of those recycled fish get picked off by the sea lions because they are disoriented after being trucked. I bet that is why they are there with such high numbers getting recycled.

    Why do you net the wild fish and remove them from the water if you are going to release them?

      Sometimes, especially if a fish is tangled in the leader, it's easier on the fish if you use a net. Also, the Beckman net material will not harm the fish like regular nets.

    Theyre so damn worried about the sea lions but dams are the killer for the fish.

      Without dams I'd be living like a caveman? LOL, you live under a rock? Where do you think most of our electricity comes from? It's not hydro power guy. Educate yourself.

      jjbrown16 coal and Hydro is where most of Oregon’s electricity comes from.

    The lip syncing at the end is killing me. Why don't you just mic up?

    • @AnglerWestTV
      @AnglerWestTV  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      We've never lip synced anything in 429 episodes. I use two mics of different types that I've found to work best on a boat with several people. No idea what you're talking about.
