in terms of refillable nail oil pens, my go to is a pentel brush pen! they’re made for use with watercolours, so you can find them at any craft/art store and they come in a bunch of sizes! works basically the same as the nail specific ones except u squeeze the tube instead of clicking out the oil. it’s a nice crossover for my hobbies lol

    Loved this!
I wanna add: L'Occitane 20% Shea Butter Hand Cream is still my favourite hand cream of all time for my dry hands.. just so rich and gorgeous! The cuticle oil from the same collection is great too! (Also all their hand creams are just luscious aromatherapy as well as great for my hands.. i think i have like 20 different hand creams from them lol) Totally recommend everyone!

neutrogena norwegian hand cream has been my go to for over 20 years. worked in multiple places where frequent hand washing was required, and this hand cream worked consistently well for me and my coworkers. a little goes a long way. also putting on hand cream, vaseline, oil, etc at night and then putting on cotton socks or gloves can help when your hands or feet need some extra tlc.

My poor nails were damaged by dip and acrylic Manis so I have been in repair an recovery mode for WEEKS. Best products include OPI cuticle oil and Nail Envy Soft &Thin nail strengthened clear coats. I also use every hand cream I can find: l'Occtitane, Trader Joe's Rose Oil cream, Sephora brand, Gold Bond, CeraVe, Cetaphil, even face creams or Bag Balm! I am ALWAYS dry and rough on my hands any more, at age 56. It will be regular Manis from now on, for sure, and I will be trying some more creams from your suggestions soon. Your hands always look lovely!

Hi Matilda, I really enjoyed your video. I recently bought two hand creams from the Nivea range. The smooth hand and nail care which I use for daytime, and the intensive moisture hand cream for night time. Both are lovely to use and beautifully scented, leaves a light balm like feeling on the hands with no greasy after feel. My hands are still soft after light hand washing.
Chanel's L'Huile Camelia nail oil is currently my favourite for moisturising cuticles. The oil is in a gel like form, which releases the oil once it is massaged into the nails. It has a fruity floral scent.

I’m not sure about international availability but the Nuetrogena Norwegian formula hand cream is a staple in my family. My mom is a retired nurse and she used it for years while working to combat scaly, dry hands. It’s thick so you only need a little and it’s fragrance free.

One of the best tips for nail care is one from ‘the salon life’ on TH-cam who says to keep a hand lotion and oil next to your hand wash at the sink and to use them after hand washing everytime, a small bit of lotion after drying your hands and a small drop of oil for both hands and massage, she recommendeds the kerasal foot ointment with urea and salicylic acid for your daily cuticle care too and for after your weekly mani

I use the same nail oil pens and have been refilling them for about 3 years.
I push the brush only for the first click. that leaves a gap between the lip of the brush and the edge of the cartridge that you can grab onto to remove to refill. it has never leaked and I throw it in my backpack without a problem

I keep a large bottle of Eucerin Roughness Relief lotion at my work desk. The horrible soap in the women’s restroom always dries out my hands. The biggest problem I have with manicures is getting polish to stay on longer than a day without chipping. I was told that the easy chipping is due to oily nail beds 🤷‍♀️

I have just gotten into more intensive nail care and I love it!
I was gifted the Hermes nail oil and I love it.
I am also using the Chanel nail serum as well as Kerasol intensive foot balm.
It was recommended by @theSalonLife and it’s amazing.
It has great ingredients to help cuticles stay hydrated.

I don’t have a favorite cuticle oil but I do for hand cream (actually 3): Nuxe, Sol De Janeiro and Cicaplast 🩵
