If I had a nickel for every top level Japanese Fox first appearance in NA that upset a Top U.S. Player who had beaten Light as of the time of that set, I would have 2 nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice. Props to Kaninabe.
Whenever Rodney is on commentary, I feel like he's supposed to make the other commentator laugh and the other commentator is supposed to try not to laugh.
Tweek’s mentality seemed pretty bad this set and then the next set with Light it felt like he kind of just gave up. At this point when I’m watching a Tweek set and see him get noticeably frustrated when he gets cheesed or killed early I’m like “well this set is probably over”. It seems like he can’t get over the hump to reset and keep his head clear and just lets the frustration mess with him. Props to Kaninabe for a really good performance. Light has some competition 👀
I'm proud of him because unlike Leo he didn't give up mentally after this. He went on to defeat Neo, who he previously lost to and then a few others to make 9th. Back in the day it would probably be the other way around with the mentality but you can really see Leo was bothered after losing to Kaninabe too, and just went Byleth against Mute despite losing to him in the past with Byleth
@@gerardoortega323you can't really say that, he clearly had a gameplay to go byleth and stuck to it. Leo definitely has one of the best mentals regardless of losing, can't say the same for tweek who starts crying after loss
Bro been working on it alot in these years and its payed off. This year was a good year for tweek regardless of recent results he has had moments where his mental was clear.
