Sheer hard work...the whole process of making the coir rope...twisting, twisting ,twisting ..allby hand ..and shaping it all into sturdy "therikas" and the rope hanger ( I dont know what else to call it!) to hold the terracotta vessel.
In between a tasty lunch prepared for the two of you.
Best of all, the way it was served , with such grace and sweetness.
The way you care for every one, Bincy, with so much love, is a joy to watch, and learn from ❤

When I see these beautiful videos I no longer want to visit place xyz (there are many channels who feature their beautiful simple lifestyle). I concentrate on my present life, see what gifts are around me where I live, learn how to live with what I have, and try to magnify the parts of nature that I have on my doorstep. No more wishful thinking aimed at the future elsewhere. More diving into myself and seeing what differences I can make at home that make me proud of the changes I'm making towards the goal of living more with nature, more simply. Whenever I see coirmaking in Kerala Or Tamilnadu Or else where, I wonder how swiftly - nay o obediently, the coir fibres groom themselves into the beautiful fingers of the weaver, as if it's a machine work. ❤ . Unendingly, one would watch the fibres come into life to metamorphise into coir. Amazing is the art of creation to behold n watch. Thaank you Kerala Wetland life.
