Mesquite GP UMORA Rnd 1 | On Board with Josh Knight

The Utah Motorcycle Off-Road Racing Association kicked off the 2022 season with the Mesquite Grand Prix hosted by Grassroots Productions.
The race featured the classic Mesquite MX motocross track with a 5 mile off-road loop. Great track prep, including grooming and watering the off-road section provided great racing among all classes.
Jump on board and join Josh Knight as he competes in the Open Pro class aboard his MotoXperts supported Sherco 300 SE.

Hahah that was my first race on a dirt bike only 3hr seat time last time I raced was 2009 usra atv a you make it look easy!! Good job man hope to meet you at a race if you see 934v come say hi

Need to work on the motor Bottom and Mid range, seems lean? Good ride though!

I've blown up too many motors in mesquite. I always error on the rich side when riding the two strokes.

That’s what I did most of last year on the 2020 300xc. Looking forward to doing real offroad this year. Good to see that not only I struggle to keep up w the top 450’s on the track. They get smoked in the tight so it’s all good

I like riding both 2 strokes and 4 strokes, Early in the races I might be faster on the 450 however overall my energy runs out quicker on the 450. I can ride the 300 faster longer.

I don't think so. The dust plume makes it look like somebody launched off the hill.

Your bike is handling quick in that sand, generally we set our bikes to handle a bit more lazy by dropping the forks. What do you prefer?
