This really was a great video for way more reason than just an overview of this truck.. anyone who does not understand the way the differentials in these RC's work (buggy/truggy/MT regardless, it all applies).. THIS VIDEO really showed a great example of they way they are supposed to work. Modified with thicker fluids, it would be an out of control wheelie monster, also flip in the turns under power vs allowing the front end to "diff out" until settling back down. Differential tuning make a world of difference in RC's!
In any case.. HoBao is known for having some of the strongest, most reliable differentials on the market!
After seeing another video on here from another content creator.. I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that this is true!
Mtx looked right at home at Diamond Dust! 💯😉 A little bit thicker Center diff fluid looks like is much needed. Unless Habao glues their tires on really well.

Seem rather impressive so I hope it doesn't get buried by all the hype surrounding the surprise release of the vastly more expensive Traxxas XRT. You can buy both the Hyper MXT and the wonderful Hyper VS2 buggy for less than the price of said new Traxxas!

Especially their 80% rollers, I don't know what the prices are like in the USA but here in the UK a 10SC is £200, an 8SC £300, a GTS £230, a DC1 £200, a VS £210.. (rollers)
That's what I paid anyways.
The GTS & the 8SC are monsters & they're some of my favourite RCs from my 30+ fleet.
They're super durable, especially the drivetrains... I've never had to replace a diff or spur, I've buggered a couple of dogbones up over the years though..
Parts are reasonable... If admittedly a bit harder to get quickly lately.. But what isn't harder to get lately.?
If you don't have one, get yourself any 8th scale Hey-bow & you absolutely will not regret it.!
The GTB long wheelbase is the next on my list.!

What I did today is tear apart my FireTeam EXB 6s and clean every part, do a full damage assessment and put +$ 500 in parts for it on order. I also watched RC Guy GARAGE rip Diamond Dust with the Ho-Bo MTX and have some fun doing it. I was insanely funny listening to a New Englander Pronounce HoBao. Enjoyed the video great job👊✌👍👍

What did I do today???. Launch my XMaxx couple dozen times with the ramp. Testing out my M2C chassis brace, motor mount, ESC frame rails, driveline brace.
Broke out the Kraton 6S testing out my M2C added on parts. Always a kick ass time with it. It has the Kraton 8S 1250kv 160amps ESC in it. But only run it on 6S.
And I'm happy to report.... Nothing broke.
I even had time to fix the motohome furnace.
That's what I did today.
Now that's a list of good stuff
Looks like there's a tad to much power to front wheels, as there ballooning as you accelerate out of a turn while still maintaining low-med speed or belted tires are needed 😉 still nice truck

I definitely am a basher, tried other buggies and crawlers but always end up with the Kaiju bashing for the maximum smiles and all my other trucks mostly 1/10 and a 1/8 ,rotating through my herd of Arrma and Redcat beastie’s.enjoyed the video have a great weekend and Halloween 🎃

More nimble easier to snap spin it around. Just a touch more with the center diff and it might be even better. I'm thinking bumping up the pinion a few too as motor temp said HELL YEAH BROTHER
