NEARLY FALLING OFF BEAR TRYING A NEW JUMPING EXERCISE ~ At home horse jumping exercise/straightness

- Well this wasn't quite what I had in mind for this video but it actually turned out to be 10 times funnier thanks to Bear being very spooky and naughty. Despite me not being able to do this jumping exercise very well I did find it incredibly useful on both ponies so would certainly recommend.

A while ago, our stable owner had to put bales of hay inside of the area, because he is out of space. So he had to store them in the inside area. My mare, a haflinger, who eats hay everyday and loved food, is SCARED to death for the hay in the area. Even when i am not riding her. She acts like she never saw hay before 😂

You are so brave! Even when things are going so horribly wrong you just keep going until they go right - probably why you’re so successful. Bear has so much talent but I think most people would never have discovered it because they would have given up with her! 👏💪

that was hilarious thank you. Loved Hannah's commentary - Bear is just so so special - i sometimes think she finds poles on the ground harder than normal jumps. It makes me chuckle that she does a huge leap and within a stride she looks like a dressage pony again - you have a great bond and understand her so well - she is certainly not an easy pony to ride!!!
Your seat and ability to wait and see what the horse does is incredible. I know it can be frustrating, but those crazy horses can teach you a lot.

That jump at 21:57 was really good! I've noticed that when Bear has done a jump a couple times she really gets into it and performs really well.

I think this was a really great video showing that everyone has off days. I also really liked how she never got angry at bear even when she was rearing, but encouraged her to do it and sat her crazy jumps and spooks. Really cool video!

these videos are just so fun and they make me want to get down to the barn more often. On my pony I have done an exercise similar to this and I agree it is great for them.
Love watching Teddy's style of jumping! Love these exercise videos, great for when I'm riding :)
At my barn, we love to count down to the jump. We pick a random number and we have to count down strides approaching the jump. It shows how good your eye is and how adjustable you can be.
It's always a colorful time with Bear 😂

I loveeee doing a gymnastic with a caveleti bounce to another caveleti then one stride to a vertical then 2 strides to an oxer. Very fun when u put the jumps up and very good for the horses really gets them thinking and listening to you. Also very good for your riding position. Also love your videos haha!🤣❤️
You can also have the last as a vertical so you can do it both ways
