After watching so many video tutorials I finally know why yours is always the best. You write the intermediate reasoning steps and erase them instead of just saying them verbally.
our physics teacher showed us a question to get the average EMF in dynamo, like not half or quarter cycle but 1/3 cycle and from 0 to 1/75 second, it had a lot of steps and someone said "i solved it with limited integral", my teacher said "ok cool but keep the method to yourself" and I spent LITERAL MONTHS unable to know how to do it, I kept scouring the internet for how to do it thinking this was a physics issue because i didn't know how to get average value of a function, until i thought recently "what if it's just calculus?", went to you and i'd like to say you're an absolute life saver now i'm going to save so much time on my final exam... if the question comes MCQ because if it comes essay they'll demand steps lol.
What if I'm asked to find the average value of the function and to call that value r? When I solve for the function, am I solving for the average value of y and then solve for r like I would c? Or would r=y?
May I know, in doing f(a) + f(b) / 2 Should I use the given? Like 2x-5 [1,5] f(a) + f(b) / 2 2(1)-5 + 2(5)-5 2-5 + 10-5 -3 + 5 2 Am I Correct? Because I'm having arguments with my classmates:(
Not sure if I will get a reply, but I was taught that the AV = total accumulation/width of interval. In distance vs displacement context, the total accumulation is distance, which is fnInt |(f)| dx, not fnInt (f) dx. However, I was also taught that AV = fnInt (f) dx/(b-a), which doesn't make sense to me.
Displacement is the distance between the final and initial position whereas distance is the total accumulation (actual distance covered) Thats why distance function is written inside absolute signs and hence to find average value of distance function we must use absolute signs. saw u in 10th , 11th , 12th and now 1st sem of college.
This guy is a gem.
7 years later, still saving lives.
i always seek out your videos over other creators, your content is really helpful!
Give this guy a medal
I love you man i can understand integration with help of you 😀😁😁😂😁😂😂😀😁😁😂

Thanks so much for this! This has been super helpful.
this dude teaches everything
Man I missed this on my test. I forgot the formula. Worst part was that I wrote it out and decided to use the mean value theorem
wtf
this is the most obvious rule ever. The definite integral over an interval over the change in x
F
What is the difference?
@@John-lf3xf lol calm your tits, not everyone has the same approach to mathematics. He clearly panicked in his test and made a silly mistake.
you are amazing :)
i love you, organic chemistry tutor :)
رحم الله والديك.
Damn good channel Man! Keep up the effort.

Steps of Average value of g (x)=lxl-1 on (-1,l)
Wouldn't you bring the -2 put of the integral at 14:00

am from iraq. thank you for clear this topic
what would it help if you tell us that you are from Iraq ????
Iam from pakistan really it helped me
Naimatullah Khan it is truth 😑😑😑
*This is what my teacher gave me😑 Find the average she says...
#1) f(𝜃) = 14sec^2(𝜃/3) , [0, 3𝜋/4]
#2) h(x) = 6cos^4(x)sin(x), [0, 𝜋]
#3) h(u) = (10 − 8u)−1, [−1, 1]
#4) g(x) = 4*(cube-root x) , [64, 125]
#5) f(x) = 16sin(x) − 8sin(2x), [0, 𝜋]
😢 another level 😭
love you you are simply awesome
Thank You So Much Dear Sir.
i llove yo brooo you have helped me so much
can some one explain how can we know how to know the graph whether its increacing or decreasing
I didn't know snoop dogg teaches calculus.
I can't understand at 4:10
Jus simply substitute 1 and 5 for 2x-4
If 1, 2*1-4=-2
If 5, 2*5-4=6
Where does 1/(b-a) come from?
Its formula itself
1 / b-a integral a to b of f(x)dx
I hated calculus I mean hate!!!!.but u.I mean u.just removed the bitterness in me
You had a different video with mean value and average value of integral. What happened to it?
Thanks dude
Very nice
I love u zaddy
I LOVE YOU
What is mean by average value of a function plz tell
welp this wont be on the ap test
i mean it was on the first practice exam question on apclassroom
i love you

this is so obvious
John Landon Miller good for you asshole. Others aren’t that great at calculus as you. Luckily others are better at being human than you are.
