I honestly think the figure looks great. I think the figure took more inspiration from the recent 90’s homage cover from a recent catwoman comic. If you look at the cover of catwoman #49 cover c, it looks exactly like it down to the colors and even the shape of the diaper people keep complaining about. It even looks the same way on the comic shown at 0:55 (catwoman 28 from the 90’s).

"It was almost there" might as well be McFarlane Toys motto at this point. Whether it's the diaper, side eyes, scale, or paint, there always seems to be just one or two things off about most figures they do.
I am so stoked for this figure. The Sculpt is very nice. It would have been great to get an alternate head with a different expression that we could swap. And the diaper piece needed to be trimmed a little differently to really make this figure a stand out. All of that aside however, she’s still magnificent.

McFarlane has done one piece rubber overlays in the past, like on the Death Metal WW, it would have been perfect on this and the Arkham Catwoman he just released.

I like that plastic that they used for her hands/arms and boots. It looks to be the same material as Super Boy's jacket? I like this Catwoman but I'm with you... they gotta fix that diaper look. Maybe a more dynamic look to her face as well but that's where an extra head would have been nice. Enjoyed the review man.
I'm just hoping for an Adam Hughes Catwoman with the Audrey Hepburn face sculpt and the red goggles. That,to me is the quintessential Catwoman.
Man, I really like both the Arkham City Catwoman as well as 90s Knightfall Catwoman, But I might as well have to get the both of them because Selina Kyle aka Catwoman is one of my favorite Batman characters, Also, We need a new classic comic Riddler, Two Face, and Penguin, Amazing review on Catwoman Toyshiz.

Yeah that whip handle is too big. The diaper is way better than the the first Catwoman even though it’s still not ideal. I think the DC essentials Catwoman is the best 6 to 7 inch Catwoman there is it’s just missing missing alternate hands and a whip.
Yep an easy pass on this one. I'm more than happy with the DC Collectibles Knightfall Catwoman that came out a few years ago.
The execution of this figure outside of the waist and lower waist is cutel. I f#$king love ❤️ the whip! Spank me! I love the alternate hands. Claw me kitty! The diaper has a man bulge. It’s not doing it for me. I am trying to be as nice as possible especially when your video had me stay in line with TH-cam comments with a survey at the beginning. I love the hair. The blue on the hair is great. But, rubber hair for long haired figures should be taken into consideration. Ugh! Glad we got Funko Wonder Woman Justice League pop with the same treatment of the blue highlights. The purple is not great on this figure. The expression I agree with you should have been different. Hopefully McFarlane can revert to his Wonder Woman’s Dark Nights Death Metal articulation to avoid this design. This figure doesn’t get the same praise as the Catwoman released before. Almost.

Yeah, I'm not into the diaper look, but I'll still buy her if I see her in the store. It's probably as good a Catwoman as we are getting from McFarlane... Even though my fingers are crossed and hoping for a perfect comic black costume version.

Well actually, when you posed her with the whip around her waist it pretty much covered that awful mid section/ diaper... and has im writing this im looking at my GI Joe classified Zarana... that Catwoman should have come with the same expression.

I do think she looks great. I'm torn about the head sculpt. It looks good, but it doesn't really capture the spirit of 90s Catwoman. Does kinda look like she's got a bulge, but I'm not one to judge.

My headcanon is that she's just transgender.
This figure is so close to perfect it breaks my heart but once again McFarlane can't figure out female comic proportions. Her breasts are places to low making her look saggy and her crotch peice has a very pronounced bulge making it look like she has male anatomy. I get what they were trying to do but they went way to big there. And as you said the face is very pretty but it just doesn't look anything like Selina Kyle, especially from this time period. Over all I'm still very happy to own this figure but it sucks seeing how close we got to perfect here just to miss the mark. I hope he keeps making more female characters and gets better at it.
A different Face, Balent did some great ones. Hell one book spent bound gaged thru most of it and her eyes gave off great expression.
Was when was introduced to Catwoman was Knightfall and then her solo series and this look was great and Balent and Bagley were tops.
I can live with the diaper but also get why. Some collectors whine about seeing articulation areas.

I really wanted to want this and pick her up but the facial expression, or lack thereof, just ruins it for me. Mcfarlane should have knocked this outta the park
I don't mind the diapers on most male McFarlane figures but this is the most egregious example of why they don't work on most females. What frustrates me is McFarlane has the ability to do this better and has done so recently. Ochaco Ururaka from the My Hero Academia line is an example.
I'm going to continue to stick with my Essentials and DC Direct versions until Todd finds a way to streamline the obvious. I can't imagine a Cheetah or Starfire looking much better....
Underwear
Same cat diaper, high heels that won’t let her do any dynamic posing, Pinned joints no bicep swivel, no thigh cut lots of gaps in the legs and torso. Mcfarlane figures suck. But no one calls them on making crap figures because it doesn’t say Hasbro on the box. No new tech, another repaint and basically no accessories. No thank you!
People do, McFarlane just ignores it.
