Freddy was the star of this season playing Kaz. The dark Kaz from the books couldn't have been better played and his sequence in episode 4 against Pekka Rollins is one of the best performances of the show.

They only thing Im missing is Kaz being a little bit more sarcastic and interacting. Like in the books he jokes quite a lot, and like makes sarcastic remarks. But if this is a prequel to the characters we know, then I guess it makes sense that the playing with them is something he develops overtime.
But other than that, yes Freddys acting is incredible and I hope we get that spinoff they are aiming for!

As a mother, I was crushed watching the scenes with little Kaz. 😢
One of the things I love most about Kaz is that he tries so hard to fit in this mold as a bad guy who only cares for money. Someone like Pekker, because he learned at a young age that's the type of person who survives, but no matter how hard he tried to play that part, the good in him shines through. Yes, he does a lot of it for Inej, but it seems the more power he's able to grasp at the more good he wants to be able to do.
Adding the crows was the best decision netflix ever made 😭 beautifully done!

This season actually made me scared of Kaz, as a character. Freddy's acting was beyond amazing and no one could have played him better. Even though this season didn't follow the events of the book, I can't help but love it. I also can't help but love THIS VIDEO AAAHH ❤
But they are aiming for a spinoff. So im seeing this as a prequel to their own stories. Like we got to see Inejs first kill!!! Like that is amazing! We get to see them get closer and become more of a family. And honestly I do not care if we do not get the plot of the Heist Court, though epic, I just want more stories with them and only them!!! I will eat up any kinda plotline they are doing with them!!

@@NataliaBarzani Yeah. That's how I felt about the books too. I can't help but feel like the author dropped the ball in making the Darkling more of an anti-hero and creating a bigger Big Bad. Mal has too much brotherly energy to be an interesting love interest. He's too safe. Which is great irl, but doesn't make a thrilling story. At least, imo.
