- Cinderella Stamps are something most collectors will inevitably come across when sorting collections. They are adhesive labels often confused with postage stamps because they look so similar but they have no postal value. Some people love them, while some want nothing to do with them. I don't mind them and created a folder to keep them in. Most of them are seals commemorating Christmas or Easter while supporting a cause like helping children or eradicating Tuberculosis. Let's take a look at what I have accumulated over the last few years!
I've only run across a handful of old cinderellas from different countries and I put them in empty spaces in my Scott albums with lightly penciled notes about them. I think it adds to the history of the country and explains a little of what the concerns of that time were. You made me realize that I still am hanging onto my old Blockbuster card. Time to toss that one, lol.
They would add a little extra to time periods! Thank you for mentioning that. Toss that card, lol!
The Presidential Seal stamp is from the old Harris set of the Presidents of the US that used to come with kid's stamp albums. The first album my grandfather gave me in about 1973 had that set --- up. to President Nixon. It also came with a set of US and world flags and foreign coats of arms.
Ah neato, thanks for your comment!
Those GB stamps you bought are beautiful! The Cinderella stamps can surely be beautiful and colourful. Enjoyed looking at them. I haven't found myself particularly drawn to Cinderella stamps yet. It was funny how you discovered all kinds of cards and thingies among the Cinderella's. ... Aawwww, for the doggie stickers. Thanks for the video, Kyle. 🙂
Even though most people don't care for Cinderella's I think they have their place, I find them enjoyable from time to time. I like the doggie stickers too :P. Thanks Charnie!
Do you shop at mystic stamp?
