I bought 120v xmas lights made it PH, sent it to the Philippines and ofcourse my inlaws house is 240v. Best part is I'm am electrician 🤣 oopps

A BALIKBAYAN box is (repatriate box ) containing items sent by overseas filipino’s so basically we put dry goods, chocolates, clothing, or household items through often shipped by freight forwarders specializing in balikbayan boxes by sea, such boxes can be brought by Filipinos returning to the Philippines by air.
Will the chocolate melt??? My wife and I are trying to send out first box back for Christmas and don't want the chocolate to melt. Please respond with tips. thank you
It depends what kind of chocolates you will send. I suggest to avoid chocolate bar as they are easily melting. I usually send chocolate coated almonds or peanuts they seems fine when they arrived and also the Halloween assorted chocolate in the box. hard candies is the best to send but my family preferred chocolates. 😊
And also try to put them in separate box or containers or keep them in the original box and sealed as the parcel get thrown out everywhere so they won’t get squeezed or damage, same as breakable stuff that you will send.

Hello sis. Dito samin 2-3 months dito Kasi kami sa malayo sa city. Yung almonds chocolates hindi naman natutunaw yan actually ang the best ipadala na chocolates in my experience.
FAWSIYA MARIE 28 hindi naman, natutunaw sya kapag dumadating na sa pinas sa subrang init. Saka advice ko lang iwasan yun nga bar chocolate madali sya matunaw mas maganda yung mga chocolade coated kagaya ng M&M.
Avilyn Cyr wala naman sis, basta balutin mo lang maige saka paligiran mo nang mga malalambot na bagay para hindi mabasag kung sakaling ruff yung pag carry nila sa parcel mo. 😉
