ngl the idea of a doll like lamilly could have been good if she was 1) actually nice looking and had actually fashionable clothes, making a more "realistic" doll destigmatising bigger body shapes/stretch marks etc doesn't need to come at a cost of making her ugly and unfashionable cause its literally sending the exact opposite message of what they were aiming for and making it seem like these things are flaws to be accepted rather than just...normal neutral things. and 2) it didnt help her creators were extremely vocal about bashing other fashion dolls like barbie and being extremely misogynistic
Honestly I’m glad their doll line failed & I’m sick to death with the criticism Barbie is getting. The Barbie brand has tried to be more diverse, and as a result has started seeing a drop in their quality due to the costs of making new molds constantly. And dare I say, a lot of the Barbie dolls these days are not looking good anymore. So if it’s true that this doll line ended and they were a key player in Barbies decline, good riddance, we don’t need that toxic crap in the doll industry
Exactly. It’s very “not like other girls”. A realistic doll doesn’t mean it has to be unfashionable. The doll was hella bland as well. Lammily could’ve been better as an educational tool to teach about skincare, periods, puberty, but instead they chose to go…their route
The other problem with Lammily for me was that Lamm's fans were mostly arrogant, rabid Barbie haters who would shame you out of the social media groups if they discovered you liked Barbie, Bratz or any other non-Lammily doll line. I was in one of the Facebook groups for Lammily once just to see what the new releases were and I was shocked to see they were accusing Mattel of copying Lammily and saying that Lammily was the first fashion doll to have a wheelchair - I almost got run off the group for pointing out that there were 3 versions of Barbie's friend Becky who came with wheelchairs! I was also attacked for mentioning the different Barbie body types because the curvy Barbies could never be any kind of representation because they were pretty and had curves instead of being plain and flat like Lammily. Sigh. The entire line and the community that went with it was just so toxic. I'm glad they're gone, honestly.
The Lammily Doll was so deep into the uncanny valley that I had a nightmare where she choked me to death. It also didn't make tall girls feel pretty since we are naturally long legged usually.
I totally agree! They went about it wrong while bashing other fashion dolls but I think there could’ve been potential. But I still think they’re ugly af
i don't see how wanting a doll of yourself or wanting a dolls that looks like you is narcissistic??? it's normal for kids to want to see dolls that look like/represent them, especially at a time where dolls were nothing but just blonde hair, blue eyes, and white (obviously things are better now, but still.)
It kind of reminds me of American Girl where they have a line where you can pick a doll that looks like you and now a days they have the option to fully customize your doll(if you have $200) though
I wouldn’t call the harajuku dolls appropriative. They’re definitely model after harajuku fashion, a contemporary street fashion in Japan, so I wouldn’t see how that is appropriative. Bratz did that once with Tokyo a go go.
I own two of the Wild Hearts Crew, found them at a discount store called Ross here. In stores they were 12.99 USD but at Ross they were like 7.99 I believe. I love the two I have, great quality.
Yes, they are about to release new EQG, they're taller, but they're kind of weird looking. I will probably get one because I like the pet deer it comes with lol
I miss Shoppies and Project MC2. I thought Project MC2 were too expensive to collect a bunch of them, but I loved their outfits. Little did I know Rainbow High would replace them and cost even more, but at least I get 2 outfits at a time.
Wild Hearts Crew are amazing dolls, but I think the branding was a little confusing compared to other doll lines. The vibe I remember getting from their little bios was that they were from an 80s small town in the desert, where everyone drag races, watches for aliens, and does roller derby or something. Very cool and unique, but not something kids would relate to? Monster High were monsters. Bratz were fashion. WHC I think just came across in the package as... some dolls. Sadly. :(
Lmaooo "these dolls were meant to tie in with the Ever After High-" Definitely wish Ever After High was still here. Never understood the hype of Descendants.
I think the hype came from the fact that it was classic Disney villians with sons and daughters. So the concept itself is what got people invested. At least thats my guess
WHC never get the chance to thrive. They had low budget and were never sold outside the US. It’s a shame cuz the faceups, face sculpts, diversity and body types was all so amazing!
@@christineherholz9359 That WAS weird that the packs only came with tops, yeah. Jacy is my favorite, but she's hard to redress because no other doll pants I have fit her. ☹️ I ended up putting her in Barbie dresses with sweatshirts or coats on top so it kind of looks like she's wearing a skirt and I can vary up her look.
Wonder if "Wild heart crew" would had sold better if they didn't had that mindset that the US is the only country in the world. Wanted those dolls, but never saw them in Canada and from what I remember they were only sold in the states. :/
Have you heard of Disney Star Darlings? I just know about their series and books and it's actually pretty good. They also had dolls too. I have one of the doll but it's second hand and already out of the box so I didn't get the full experience. But it would be fun to see you search for the dolls and unbox it if there's out there.
I’m in love with Wild Hearts Crew. So sad we only got 5 dolls and few fashion packs. I personally love their fashion style and I love 2000 fashion in general. Boxy girls are not my fave but their fashions are good fit for FailFix so I was hoping there will be more dolls. But oh well.
I love the Boxy Girls. Wish they were still around. The Descendants dolls were a lot of fun too. I miss the original Equestria Girls, they were quirky and cute.
"The clothes are so out of date on the reboot dolls." My guy, those are *literally* the clothes the Equestria Girls wear from the show... Have you ever watched it? XD Also, no, not even close to being narcissistic to wanting a doll that has a few traits that look like you. That's actually very heavily encouraged in therapy to draw yourself, and making things resembling yourself because a lot of people suffer from self image issues or confidence and being comfortable and liking things that resemble you can help you feel a lot better about yourself, and embrace your individuality instead of confirming to what people around you want to control you to be, it's deadly. You can't love someone, if you cannot love yourself. (Which, btw, this can also create victims due to abusers always targeting people with a very low self image of themselves, due to the abuser seeing them as a doormat.)
The wild hearts crew were supposed to be retro theme. There’s a lot of 80s influence. If you took some time to look at them you’ll notice what era they’re getting their inspiration from. Honestly today’s fashion trend is so boring, generic, plain and basic in my opinion. I’ll take “Out of date” fashion over current fashion.
They still were out of date and questionable. Their fashions were not stylish in any way, shape or form. The issue is that they were 80s inspired not in a good way though, WHC came out in 2018 their fashions however looked like they were from 2014.
Thank you so much for covering Ever Girl and Mystikats. For the longest time I thought I made those doll lines up, and I've been searching for proof of their existence for YEARS. Thank you so much for ending my search.
I bought two of the WHC on discount the blond and the blue hair. When I opened them and read their little magazine thing and it said who their best friend was I was like oh dear I wish I had bought her too. I think that was kind of neat marketing thing. A cute guilt trip lol.
A few dolls that I don't recall seeing in your series of Discontinued & Forgotten Doll Lines are: Sunshine Family Dolls, Star Spangled Dolls, Herself the Elf Dolls, Playground Kids Dolls, Starr Dolls (Mattel), Sea Wees dolls, and Glamour Gals. I really enjoyed watching these videos. Really brought back fond memories. I also discovered dolls I never knew existed.
I can't remember if you covered Lady Lovely Locks but that would be a fun one. Other nominees: H2O Just Add Water dolls from the mid-00s, Tonka Aurora dolls from the late 80s/early 90s, and the Sunshine Family from the 70s. There was also a sort of Barbie-ish doll from the 1970s called Ideal Jody whose thing was being a Victorian lady with a general store playset and a parlor playset.
Dude, there is a HUGE current problem with girls as young 6 feeling self conscious about pimples and stretch marks. Like, yeah she was probably made with parents in mind but parents that notice there seems to be a bit of an issue.
Kindi kids is the name of the large doll. They have cute bobble heads that move. I noticed recently that they share names with some of the shopkins. Both by moose toys. Shibajuku dolls might also be worth a mention..I think there was a recent re release,...but they are gorgeous. And as for larger dolls..journey girl dolls (the original releases not the newer ones) were really beautiful quality. Love this series, it's always nice to learn about dolls you never knew. Thanks Joey!
please put (catwalk kitties) and (zodiac girlz) and (pixie doodles) and (creatable world) (vi & va) and (zennie dollz) and (sunny day) and (lollipop girls) and (once upon a zombie) and (spacepop) and ( herself the elf) in your next video!
talk about felicity wishes dolls! they were plush dolls that came with a magazine and every new magazine edition came with a new outfit for the dolls. i had them all!
I wanted one of those mystikats go live dolls SO bad when I was a kid. I was really into those cheesy plug n plays. Lol. I don’t know if I commented these before, but there were Gurlz dolls by Irwin toys and the BFC ink dolls by post-bratz MGA. I’m so nostalgic for those but they’re weirdly expensive on eBay. 😆
I actually just found out about wild hearts crew and ordered all 5 on Amazon. Haven't received them yet in Denmark. But I can't wait to take a look at them. 😁
I had an Ever Girl doll. It was a gift from one of my classmates who celebrated their birthday in school (that was back when you could bring cupcakes for the class). I don't remember what happened to it but mine had red hair. I also owned an Equestria girl doll that I got for Christmas one year but my mom borrowed it for something and hopefully it is still in good condition. I had the Twilight one.
I'm kinda sad about Wild Hearts Crew, because I am a huge 60's/70's/80's classic rock junkie, and they were clearly taking inspiration from that 70's punk-ish and 80's rock-ish era, so I thought they were really cool! And I thought it was nice to see dolls with more unique, urban, counterculture-ish, etc. kinds of styles and fashion. Thankfully I do own the two that I really wanted from that line though.
KUU KUU HARAJUKU GANG!!! I feel like the reason they stopped is because after the show they were based on stopped airing the dolls sadly stopped coming out. I have all of the full size dolls except normal G and Angel, and all 5 of the girls in mini scale form
I would also include Lego Scala doll sets. I loved those when I was a kid. They were like smaller Barbies with good articulation produced by Lego which is cool. The quality was pretty good.
Wow who new a video about discontinued dolls would help me identify a random bag of doll clothes I got out of a thrift store. Boxy girls dresses can fit on Kelly dolls if you don’t mind a big skirt so buying the bag wasn’t a waste
2010 is quite old?! That Holly Hobbie was yet another reboot of a doll from the 70s. That's old. Love this series of yours. I remember some dolls from the late 80s that you would have loved. Same scale as Barbie, but I don't think by Matel. They each wore really fancy lingerie. The quality was amazing and they were priced better than Barbie. I'll have to go rummage in the attic and see if I can find out who made them...
You should do a discontinued fashion dolls from the 60s & 70s alone! There were so many that never lasted maybe more than a year (because Barbie always came along with the big Mattel machine to crush any doll in her path) Here are a few: Dawn, Candi, Steffi, Liddle Kiddles, Blythe, Darci (an awesome articulated disco doll from Kenner circa 1978 ) all of the Mego dolls , both 6 inch and 12 inches. The list is long (sadly) for these doll casualties.. thank God MGA finally came along..
KindiKids are the best dolls, they're super high quality, absolutely adorable, and have heaaaapps of hair so you can really style it. Every time I see them I just get overwhelmed by the feeling of how cute they are and how beautiful their colours are
Ooff the shopkins one hurt. My daughter is now 12 & she has pretty much grown out of her doll phase. She still loves the lol.omg dolls...but mostly she doesn't play with them. She used to be a big time doll lover/collector. She loved the shopkin dolls. I miss those days. The ever after high, monster high days. I miss playing dolls with her.
Don't know if you've heard of the Quints line of dolls. They were around in the late 80s, early 90s. They were a set of 5 babies, 2 boys, 3 girls, each with a different color, and were about the size of Chelsea/Kelly dolls. They came with play sets with clothes and accessaries. There was later a set of cousin triplets, 3 girls, who had different outfits that matched, or that when you lined the dolls up, made a picture. I loved them when I was a kid.
I haven’t seen Zeenie Dollz mentioned yet! The concept of a doll you can recycle is super cool but they seemed too expensive growing up so I never bought them.
Seeing the shopkins shoppies on this list made me sad because i adore all the shoppies designs so much and i was a MASSIVE shopkins fan when it was popular, its sad for me to see shopkins and the shoppies die out into what they are now
The holly hobbie ones came out in 2005/2006 and the one that you showed you could weave the beads that came with it through the doll's hair, the other ones had a tie dye project and a sticker project.
I like your content but I am a bit upset. The stretch marks doll might seem to be aimed at adults but in reality you can form these at any age. Puberty for women can happen from as young as year 3/4 when you’re as young a 8 years old in some cases. I started to get stretch marks on my thighs in year 4 and I didn’t know why. no one else had marks and they kept getting darker and I thought it was ugly. Having a doll like this would have really helped me. I think it’s just a bit brash of you saying that it wouldnt appeal to girls that age when you haven’t been a young female yourself? Maybe I’m being a bit sensitive but that didn’t sit right for me. I will continue watching your channel but I really do not agree with that comment 😅 also children’s mums also have stretch marks etc and maybe they get noticed in a swimming pool and it’s teaching children that it’s a normal thing to have and not be self conscious I guess. That’s my thought 🙃
Thank you for saying this, a childhood friend of mine got strech marks at the exact same age as you when I was a child, and it made me so heartbroken to see her wear long pants constantly. Even when it was blistering hot out... I always tried my best to tell her she was awesome just the way she was, but, naturally when you hear society be so cruel to people with stretch marks for so many years, it gets to you. She ended up getting body issues because of it, and gained a eating disorder, too.
I thought about Shopkins shoppies the other day. I notice I don't see them in the toy aisle anymore. The wild hearts crew reminds me of the Flava dolls Mattell made back in 2002.
Have you spoken about Dawn Dolls before? I vividly remember playing with my mom's old dawn doll set. The clothing was all super 70s and the dolls had kind of a Brigitte Bardot vibe.
I don't know if this doll series was mentioned in an earlier video but in the early 2000s, I remember owning a couple of Peak-A-Boo Petites from Mattel.
Look up i-girl dolls - they didnt release in the uk sadly but they are amazing dolls which didnt last long. I dont think you’ve included them yet. I love these videos 💙
Make a tier rating video of American Girl dolls!!!! Maybe all the girls of the year- they’re the most stylish which I know fashion is your thing. I bet American girl is not your cup of tea at all but the video would be so fun and ag fans will find you!
I really wish Wild Hearts Crew were sold outside the US, I definitely would have bought them if I could but they're ridiculous prices now. I honestly love Project Mc^2 as well; they have beautiful character designs and faces even though I felt as though the STEM stuff was a bit transparent and wouldn't have especially appealed to me as a kid even though I liked science
The reason why descendants don’t look like the actores it’s because if they do Disney would have to pay royalties to the actors for using their likeness. Most of the time on tv and films they use some contracts to establish how many toys and for how long they could use the likeness of a certain person. If they want to expand they would have to pay. That’s why most of the avengers toys doesn’t always looks like the actors (specially black widow because it’s doesn’t wear a mask) apparently that’s the reason why they couldn’t put Giselle as part of the Disney princess franchise, as in the animated Giselle was made on purpose to look like Amy Adams… sort of.
Bleeding Edge Goths were awesome, but they have been discontinued a long while ago. They were maybe more targeted for adult collectors but maybe good to add in a future video? :) I own two of them and love them dearly, really want to get more in the future!
Ok. I have just watched all 7 videos in a row to make sure I didn't miss anything. This is gonna be long... ok. I have heard of most of these, only a few were a surprise to me. First off, I agree with everyone else on here about Wild Hearts Crew. They did NOT get the chance they deserved! Those dolls were very high quality at a time when play line Barbies were badly degrading. I had not been buying many dolls at the time but when they came out I got all 5! I love them! I never could get their fashion packs tho. Sadly. I really wish they had gotten other waves and clothes. That line had soooooo much potential for growth! Also, Barbie's Generation Girls line was awesome! I am still trying to collect all of them. A doll line you missed that was similar to Barbie and Generation Girls was Mystery Squad. Now those dolls were just IT for me growing up! Especially Kenzie! She was my absolute favorite! I LOVED that she had a grappling hook! And as i read Hardy Boys, Nancy Drew and Sherlock Holmes books having dolls that were meant to be detectives was perfect! Oh. Another doll line you didn't cover here, (may not have heard of it. Idk anything about what dolls the U.K. gets) but they're mini dolls like you talked about with the fashion Polly dolls. Starr Modeling Agency was the name of the line. And while their faces aren't the same kind of pretty that you'd see on a barbie, for a 6 inch doll they were pretty well made. My childhood collection of them is still in great condition. With all their accessories. And I did play with them alot as they were the same size as the mcdonald's happy meal barbies I had so many of. And to go along with sindy being a barbie knock off type of doll, there were also the Steffie-Love dolls and the Lucky Bunny dolls. They were off brand dolls I usually would get at discount stores, but the ones in the 90s were pretty decent quality (amazing compared to now) and they had good quality clothes that I really liked. And they're all still in good shape all these years later too.
i loved the descendants dolls! i only just recently got into dolls and struggling to find some in my own country of the descendants ones. Ever after high dolls were better for sure, but the disney film brought so many good memories back and taught me so much.
The Shoppie bigger dolls are called Kindi Kids. they are aimed at younger kids/toddlers, which is why they are on the larger side. They are still being made as of this post.
I actually have all or almost all the dolls from a couple of these lines ( All the Wild Hearts Crew dolls and most of the original DC Comics Super Hero Girls). I hated when they rebooted the DC Comics Super Hero Girls dolls.
WHC were great dolls! I have most, except for Jayce (the white haired gal), and bought most of their fashion packs, and I loved them! The best part of their clothes is that they fitted most dolls, except their counterparts MH and EAH, because they're the normies, as they mentioned before here, and also, fashion packs! Most dolls these days either don't have any or charge you an arm, an eye, and a leg for it, and you don't hear the people complain about it! They were good to excellent quality, and they're worth it!
Lammily was boring, as a kid I would NEVER have played with a doll like her or with modern Barbies, just because they were too realistic Kids dream big, they like fancy, unrealistic things, so if a kid has to choose between Princess Barbie in a sparkly pink ball gown that glows and Supermarket Shopping Barbie with a generic, plain t- shirt and a pair of jeans, chooses the Princess Barbie with the wonderful dress Lammily and the new Barbies are not meant for kids, they are meant for adults who take dolls and fairy tales too seriously, demanding realism, and want dolls and animated films (Disney) that match their adult, realistic vision.
Exactly! As a kid I never saw Barbie (or any other doll) as a real human. They were more like fictional characters that allowed me to create their own adventures and fashions. Same thing with cartoons and comics. So weirder so better! Today, as an adult, I do like the more realistic fashion and there is a reason why there are toy lines and collector lines. Once again, most adults do not know what entertainment kids really like and sometimes (indirectly) ruin it for them.
@@morinomajou yes, Dreamtopia dolls have diversity, there are curvy princesses, fairies and mermaids but they are too cheap and tacky We need high quality fairytale Barbie dolls, each doll with a specific color scheme to make each doll unique and different from the others
Cupcakes dolls from the 80s (they were little fashion dolls with clothes but instead of legs their part of the skirt that wasn't fabric was like a silicone cupcake mold that flipped up and their hats were the top of the cupcake.) Sailor Moon and all her dolls and versions of, she had short action figure ones with still actual fabric clothing and barbie size ones as well. HuggaBunch they came out in the 80s they were a softie doll with fabric fashions and a super cute movie. Charmkins- they came out in the 80s, they were fashion play but not dolls, you could wear them on necklaces or charm bracelets and they had cute cartoons as well. Chatty Cathy/Suzy Smart- 1960s my mom had her as a kid cuz her name is Kathy and my aunt Sue got Suzy Smart. They are neat cute dolls with fabric fashion. Tammy and Pepper-from the 1960s by Ideal, my mom had her them when she was little and passed them on to us when we got old enough. Worlds of wonder Fashion and Talking dolls, Julie and Pamela- from the 1980s. They had little fashion and tape and book kits you could buy for them. My sister whose name is Julie got Julie and I got stuck with Pamela. Julie was way cooler her mouthLOL. Eyes moved and she had sensors on her fingers that would read spots in the books. Pamela's hair was trash, and said weird phrases when you touched spots on her face I just remember one of them "Your nose is pretty." Lol. They were like the fashion version of teddy rucksbin. The Go-Gos by Topper- Came out in the 1960s, were themed fabric clothed dolls. I have my Moms The Tomboy Baseball doll. Shes super cute, she has a black eye and a baseball mit and bat. And just cuz im going down my childhood memory lane these last few are odd balls that don't really fit the category. Popples-1980s did get a reboot in the 90s or 00s that were still cute but now have a Netflix reboot that are gross (haven't seen the toys for the new ones yet though), but the classic popples were awesome and even the first reboot was exceptable. SilverHawks-1980s action figures that had an awesome cartoon, I still have a couple of them. Fashion power rangers Yellow and Pink ranger dolls. He-man-1980s She-ras cousin or brother that helped bring us her amazingness. 90210 fashion dolls-1990s New Kids on the Block Ken style dolls 1980s/90s. And of course the classic Ken sized GI-Joe that actually had fabric fashion and we all had him hang with Barbie. Lol
I think there were a series of dolls called Starr. They were similar to the old Dawn dolls, which you did talk about in another video. The old Holly Hobbie dolls were actually made out of fabric like Raggedy Ann...this was back in the 70s. There were also country dolls called Jody...different versions.

WHC I think just came across in the package as... some dolls. Sadly. :(
Let's throw some words on the box!!!
Wild heart crews are like the Normie‘s for monster high.
Exactly! Someone gets it!
Lmaooo "these dolls were meant to tie in with the Ever After High-" Definitely wish Ever After High was still here. Never understood the hype of Descendants.
Same never understood the hype either
I think the hype came from the fact that it was classic Disney villians with sons and daughters. So the concept itself is what got people invested. At least thats my guess
@@ShadamyLover15 makes sense but ever after high is still better imo.
I miss ever after high 😔
WHC never get the chance to thrive. They had low budget and were never sold outside the US. It’s a shame cuz the faceups, face sculpts, diversity and body types was all so amazing!
Yes! They're such good dolls, and the little fashion/accessory packs are cute too!
@@anyu If only they'd gotten some trousers as well. Poor trouserless dolls. :-(
@@christineherholz9359 That WAS weird that the packs only came with tops, yeah.
A TH-camr called Negative Legend did an entire video about this franchise like a week ago I believe. If you haven't seen it I highly recommend it
@@ShadamyLover15 ohhh I heard of him before! thanks for the info
Don't forget that most of the LOL OMG dolls are 70s-80s fashions inspired, and I love that.
Holly Hobby was a doll series that my mom grew up in the 70s with and gave me her hand me downs, then later the reboot 2000s version came out
yes - I remember them, didn't the old ones have large heads and small bodies though?
@@sammyclegg i think, they had ragdoll Raggity Anne type dolls and little figurines, not like the fashion dolls they rebooted
I had two Holly Hobbie rag dolls when I was little.
The Mystikats Dolls really resemble the Bratz Dolls. There is even a commercial from 2005 advertising the dolls.
@@bratzscene3131 Yeah I dunno how are they saying that it's supposed to be 80s themed when it reminded me more of "EMO" era in the early 2000s haha.
Does naughties mean 2000s ? In uk ?
@@kawakami5724 yes
@@bratzscene3131 thx!
I like that little Mickey mouse doll that always sits in the back and peaks out over your shoulder, like a little quiet observer.😊🥰
Thank you so much for covering Ever Girl and Mystikats. For the longest time I thought I made those doll lines up, and I've been searching for proof of their existence for YEARS. Thank you so much for ending my search.
I loved the wild heart crew. I own all of them. I so wished they'd done more with them
I bought two of the WHC on discount the blond and the blue hair. When I opened them and read their little magazine thing and it said who their best friend was I was like oh dear I wish I had bought her too. I think that was kind of neat marketing thing. A cute guilt trip lol.
I just thrifted a Shopkins and a Boxy Girl last week, and 2 Kindi Kids recently too! 💖
Equestria Girls will always have a huge space in my heart 🖐️😭💕
I do collect dolls and for sure, the EG dolls are my favorite.
Another discontinued doll is the catwalk kitties. (Just another suggestion whoever you do a part 8)
I can't remember if you covered Lady Lovely Locks but that would be a fun one. Other nominees: H2O Just Add Water dolls from the mid-00s, Tonka Aurora dolls from the late 80s/early 90s, and the Sunshine Family from the 70s. There was also a sort of Barbie-ish doll from the 1970s called Ideal Jody whose thing was being a Victorian lady with a general store playset and a parlor playset.
after i watched this i went to ebay and bought all the wildhearts, love love them got yesterday
Dude, there is a HUGE current problem with girls as young 6 feeling self conscious about pimples and stretch marks. Like, yeah she was probably made with parents in mind but parents that notice there seems to be a bit of an issue.
I own all of the Wild Hearts Crew dolls, I ADORE them!! Fantastic articulation, amazing hair, and they all have such adorable faces!
I wanted to get one of the Wild hearts, but I just wasn't completely sold on it. I think they were a Walmart exclusive doll line too.
And US only. :/
please put (catwalk kitties) and (zodiac girlz) and (pixie doodles) and (creatable world) (vi & va) and (zennie dollz) and (sunny day) and (lollipop girls) and (once upon a zombie) and (spacepop) and ( herself the elf) in your next video!
And BEGOTHS ;-;
I never seen any of these dolls at all here in Australia very interesting 🥰 thanks Joey
We deffo have Equestria Girls, Kuu Kuu Harajuku and Shoppies here haha
In the next discontinued video series, could you talk about the Winx Club dolls made by Jakks Pacific? I’d love to hear about your take on them! :)
Im another who owns all the wild hearts crew, i wish they wld hav kept on going.🤸♀️
I miss Equestria Girls. As a mlp collector I am sad to see my dolls discontinued not only the Equestria Girls but also the friendship is magic ponies.
talk about felicity wishes dolls! they were plush dolls that came with a magazine and every new magazine edition came with a new outfit for the dolls. i had them all!
Another discontinued doll is the catwalk kitties. (Just another suggestion whenever you do a part 8)
Love the video . Thanks. Your forgetting creatable world and fail fix dolls ! Love them both.
The wild hearts crew were pretty awesome! A shame they were discontinued
MGA 5Sises I believe is a discontinued doll line, I remember them being one of my favorite dolls/toys.
I really wish Wild Hearts Crew had stuck around. I have all the girls aside from the pink haired one (Jacy or something I believe?) and I love them.
I've always wanted a Kuu Kuu Harajuku doll 👏 they're so cute ❤.
Lammily looks like her playset would include a gray cubicle and a stack of credit card bills.
“Lammily helps you understand why mommy’s sad all the time! Midsize SUV sold separately.”
There were so many that never lasted maybe more than a year (because Barbie always came along with the big Mattel machine to crush any doll in her path)
Here are a few: Dawn, Candi, Steffi, Liddle Kiddles, Blythe, Darci (an awesome articulated disco doll from Kenner circa 1978 ) all of the Mego dolls , both 6 inch and 12 inches.
The list is long (sadly) for these doll casualties.. thank God MGA finally came along..
Liddle Kiddles were made by Mattel and were also teeny tiny.
I love Wild Hearts Crew! I was hoping that line would have continued.
“Maybe a little bit narcissistic to have a doll of you”
American Girl Doll fans: 👁👄👁
Me: 👀
KindiKids are the best dolls, they're super high quality, absolutely adorable, and have heaaaapps of hair so you can really style it.
I liked Gwen's doll line it reminded me of another doll line
I love this series so many great dolls from back in the day. I remember Wild Hearts
One of my literal favorite series on this channel
Boxy Girls remind me of The Diva Starz
The Shoppies were so cute. I never had any interest in Shopkins but I had to buy the secret locket Jessicake and a Rainbow Kate.
Out of all the dolls shown, my favourite is the Shopkins.
Make a tier rating video of American Girl dolls!!!! Maybe all the girls of the year- they’re the most stylish which I know fashion is your thing. I bet American girl is not your cup of tea at all but the video would be so fun and ag fans will find you!
I’m sure you covered the Novi Star line I have a couple of them, but it’s sad that it was discontinued. I also miss Ever After High.
dont forget the sailormoon dolls from the 90s 😘
Honestly I think the descendants dolls look quietly Fair accurate to the actors
I loved shoppies!!
But now there’s mlp a new generation
I love them because it will come to Netflix on 24th sep 2021
Bleeding Edge Goths were awesome, but they have been discontinued a long while ago. They were maybe more targeted for adult collectors but maybe good to add in a future video? :) I own two of them and love them dearly, really want to get more in the future!
interesting opinion on the equestria girls dolls. Most people I know liked the reboot dolls better than the originals.
Was upset about Novi Stars being discontinued. Such an interesting doll design, so much you could do with them. Damn shame
i loved the descendants dolls! i only just recently got into dolls and struggling to find some in my own country of the descendants ones. Ever after high dolls were better for sure, but the disney film brought so many good memories back and taught me so much.
I’m new here & I freakin love u. I’m a doll collector too so keep your videos coming ☺️
Lammily was boring, as a kid I would NEVER have played with a doll like her or with modern Barbies, just because they were too realistic
Kids dream big, they like fancy, unrealistic things, so if a kid has to choose between Princess Barbie in a sparkly pink ball gown that glows and Supermarket Shopping Barbie with a generic, plain t- shirt and a pair of jeans, chooses the Princess Barbie with the wonderful dress
Lammily and the new Barbies are not meant for kids, they are meant for adults who take dolls and fairy tales too seriously, demanding realism, and want dolls and animated films (Disney) that match their adult, realistic vision.
@@morinomajou yes, Dreamtopia dolls have diversity, there are curvy princesses, fairies and mermaids but they are too cheap and tacky
We need high quality fairytale Barbie dolls, each doll with a specific color scheme to make each doll unique and different from the others
Cupcakes dolls from the 80s (they were little fashion dolls with clothes but instead of legs their part of the skirt that wasn't fabric was like a silicone cupcake mold that flipped up and their hats were the top of the cupcake.)
Sailor Moon and all her dolls and versions of, she had short action figure ones with still actual fabric clothing and barbie size ones as well.
90210 fashion dolls-1990s
New Kids on the Block Ken style dolls 1980s/90s.
Jakks Pacific Starr Modelling Agency! Not to be confused with Mattel's Starr line haha ;)
