I would only recommend that you use slightly longer cords than I used. This turned out well for me, but I received some feedback that slightly longer cords were needed than the measurements I gave in the video. I hope this information will be useful to you.

1. Please tell how much centimeters rod you have used?
2. Are all measurements in cm or inches...(because somebody said in comments that these measurements in cm were way too short.. then what measurements should i take

The measurements are in cm, and yes, I got feedback that the cords are too short. It worked for me with these measurements, but I advise you to use longer cords, for example: 12 x 76 cm, 32 x 100 cm.
At least you know for sure that the length is enough.
Then you need a total of 41,12 m.

Having completed this, should the measurement be in inches, not cm? Or double the length given? The leftover tails (depending on how many times they were tied) are very short and the book holder tails are around 22cm, not big enough for hanging space, bead and tie.

Yeah I just got half way through and the strings are way too short. I think inches are maybe more accurate
