I was in the room when this happened. I remember the hair standing up on the back of my neck. I was there to photography Gary Lewis being inducted by Lou Graham of Foreigner, but was invited to shoot the whole show, with full access.
It was an amazing night...

everywhere musicians in the history of music. He has not yet been recognized for
his massive volume of work, but he will be. Everywhere one looks, there's Paul
Shaffer rubbing shoulders with the most famous artists of all time, and standing
