I just bought a 1985 coleman pop up. It's in pretty good shape. The housing in california is insane and the rvs are hard to come by. I hope my daughter, husband and I will survive for a few months 🙏 haha
Unless you were complaining about being broke....you're money you buy yeti or whatever you want...if someone were to judge you...they need to mind their own "karen" business. Glad to see you two making life happen your way. Good luck.

We did not power the trailer lights with that battery. We could have but knew the pop up was not long term for us. We simply used other lights inside that could be powered by the battery. Hope that helps! -N

Thanks for this great video breakdown of your crib! I currently own a pop up but have never actually used it for long periods. Today I had the idea to rent my home out and live in the pop up on the road. After watching this video, I see its possible. Super stoked to see more content from you guys! you deserve more subs. We had to spend some time and the Spanish consulate in Sam Francisco and it was a NIGHTMARE! Would not recommend a trailer for a city. Ideally you wouldn’t need to get out of the living space to get back in the drivers seat. Makes for a quick getaway. -N
I moved into my pop up. Last year! Haven’t taken it on the road! This was SO helpful! Thanks ... question. .. do you have problems with bears attempting to enter or tear at your screens? Or any other animals?
Way to go! We’re so glad you found this helpful. We had bears and other critters check out the camper but nothing made it’s way in. Except mosquitos. Many places won’t allow soft sided (aka pop ups) or other fabric shelters in certain areas because critters do in fact make their way into these if they get a chance. Enjoy the adventure! -N
Hi Darryl! We got Verizon while we were on the road in Alaska. With two phones and an iPad with service, we had plenty of data and could hotspot 20GB per device. It obviously wouldn’t work anywhere too remote, but is a common solution to internet on the road. Hope that helps! -N
I'm heading to fairbanks next year in late June into July . I'll be pulling a pop up. How has your experience been in the poo up. Do you have any do and don't advice for pop up camping in Alaska?
Hey James Smith! We could give lots of advice. Perhaps one of the biggest for AK is the 🦟 mosquitoes. Make sure you seal everything up for a pop up. Also, many sites may not allow tests, which may also include soft shell trailers. That bit us in the but a few times but over all the pop up was a great experience. An excellent way to learn what you want in your next rig! Enjoy! -N

We created a budget and lifestyle that we can afford. The first step was starting to budget and ensure each dollar we earned had a job! -N

We were in Banff, Canada. Right after we got it up they told us we had to move... just glad we didn’t pay yet! -N

I don't think it's a good idea to stand on the roof of a pop up camper, just saying.
When closed it had enough support. People place roof rack bars for bikes and kayaks on these things all the time. -N
