My family started the first 100 years in America as Quakers. Starting in 1680 in Aston Township, PA. The original stone house from 1680 still stands today.
I was doing family research several years ago and can give credit to my ancestors for introducing me to the Quakers. Discovering these connections lifted me at a time I was feeling down about my faith. Thanks for doing this video and explaining more genealogy resources.
Watched this video as a newcomer in the uk with an interest in quakerism. On recalling my grandfather came from a prosperous pennsylvania family, out of curiosity I did some digging and discovered my quaker descendants left the North of England in the 17th century for Pennsylvania and we had a continuous line of quaker family right through until the early 20th century. Who would have known! Thanks for sparking my interest. I feel proud of my quaker past and having found a direct connection to this faith😊blessings and all good🙏🙌
I loved the Quaker Conference "Friends Conference on Religion and Psychology started by Quakers and Carl G. Jung in the 1940s. I am curious about Israel Aaron Fairchild, an abolitionist who lived in Cherry Creek, Chautauqua County, NY from 1850 to 1869. He isn't listed as a soldier in the county.
How can I find out about German quakers? I can't seem to find anything past famiky bible. I contacted swathmore and I'm more confused. I couldn't figure out how to use the archives. I got some books and the ones I'm looking for is not there. Shouldn't there be a removal for the confirmed quaker when she married if he wasn't? He might have been lutheran.

G grandfather was Giles Knight
I’m a descendant of the big quaker family , the Hicks family of Rhode Island
So far I've found my Womack and Jobe ancestors were Quaker.

You all converted
@RebelKing00 There are supposed to be removals when that happens. I can't find them.
