So if your kid is 5, leave them something it can be put in a trust, but also leave a small amount $15k or so for burial expenses to someone you TRUST!
can you still leave the power of attorney to the kid with that $15k for funeral expenses?? also, what about cremation? isn't that relatively cheaper than an actual funeral service?

Cremation is definitely the cheaper way to go.
