As much shit as Leonard got from Thugnificent and the rest of the crew he ended up being a true friend at the end. He stayed after Thugnificent’s fall and was working to help him out and return the favor.
That’s why thugnifacent had him in the crew lol
Seems like the homie in the group that’s nicest usually gets clowned on out of jealousy. They are also the most helpful when times are tuff and the others run off.

T-Pain released an album of song covers called "On Top of the Covers" where he sings a lot with no autotune. The live concert version is free to watch on his TH-cam channel and it is amazingly beautiful. Almost brought a tear to my eyes. He covered a wide variety of genres: blues, pop, rock, country, etc. I'm talking big, classic songs like Don't Stop Believin' by Journey, A Change is Gonna Come by Sam Cook, Tennessee Whiskey by Chris Stapleton, and War Pigs by Black Sabbath.
Not sure if anyone else notices but I absolutely love how the older characters in the show all treat Riley like a little brother. Like Ed III, Rummy, Thugnificent and his crew would definitely wreak havoc if they know anybody was out to get Riley.
Also big props to Leonard, man. Nobody in the Boondocks(aside from Huey or Jasmine) deserves a friend like him. Dude was putting in everything he had and Thugnificent was treating him like trash🥺
Also next ep is one of if not the *BEST* episode of the entire series!!🔥🔥🔥

In regards to athletes blowing their money, baseball players are unique in having a very high wealth retention after retirement. It seems to be a combination of having a more gradual introduction to having money as they typically start in the minors making 6 figures before they make millions and the MLB players union requires players to attend a basic financial management college class to learn how to manage their money.

Lil Wayne was one of the most popular rappers of all time and many people still don't know about his beef with Birdman, Gilly Da Kid, B.G, Juvenile, etc. When normies think about rap beef, they typically think about Soulja Boy vs Ice T and 50Cent vs JaRule since those beefs were making noise outside out the Hip-Hop circle.
Back when 50Cent and Jarule were beefing, you could turn on your TV and see a CNN interview about it. lol

One aspect of this episode that didn't age well was the oldheads hating on Thugnificent's autotune album which was reference to Kanye's 808s & Heartbreak. I mean they did hate on it at the time, but they were wrong to hate. The irony is that Riley's generation are the one's who grew up and were influenced by 808s.
