Look for the Chicago Blackhawks to package one of their three 2nd-round picks with No. 20 to move up. If Cole Eiserman slips down outside of the top ten lottery picks and is available at picks #10-13 , Kyle from Chicago will start working the phones to get him.

Murphy, Connor "A" 3 UFA M-NTC RD NHL Trade 31 5.3 $4,400,000 $4,400,000 $4,400,000 after this year Murphy will have two years left. He’s only 31 he’s got a reasonable contract is she worth a first round pick or a second and do you see him getting treated?
he looked solid with his small sample size at the end of the year, but before he got hurt this year he was not good at all. Along with other players you could probably get a 1st or 2nd round pick at 50% retained, but by himself probably not
The reason the Hawks won three cups was they always had a better D core than the other teams. Yes they had great forwards but so did ever team they went against. No team had the D depth of the Hawks. How many teams had their second pair able to shut down the best of the other teams. No matter what the Hawks do, this pick must be an impact player. The 2nd pick is something that does not come around often. For those who say size does not matter, I have a bridge to sell you. Without Big Buff, Seabs and Bickell the Hawks go nowhere. Player like Hossa and Saad were solid bodied that could take and give a hit.
I feel like they take Lindstrom at 2 I mean if they took Demidov that would mean your future top six consists of 5 foot 10 Bedard, 5 foot 11 Demidov, 5 foot 9 Nazar, 5 foot 11 Oliver Moore they for sure need some big boys upfront.
I see them talking to Toronto about seeing if they can work out a trade that includes the 20th overall pick, plus one of their LD prospects, and maybe one of their B-C forward prospects for Marner. Toronto would want a D back, so they would have to consider whether it makes sense to move on from Jones, because he’s the only player I see Toronto being interested in. If they make it work, Chicago would then take Levshunov. If they can’t make a move, then they take Demidov. They probably still look to move their 20th pick to move up if there’s a RD prospect left at around the 9-12 spot. If not, then they’ll probably take a RD that most would think could go in the last few picks of the first, or in the 2nd round, but they’re high on him so they’d be comfortable just getting them at 20 despite it being a reach.
Levshunov is the guy I would pick for Chicago! Or trade down with montreal ! That is definitely what I would do trade with montreal ! They have great prospects !

@@windycityblackhawks if that’s possible, makes more sense to draft Levshunov, get a possible franchise D and a great forward to play Bedard’s wing, going all forward was the Leafs rebuild plan, that has not worked out…
@@dlphcoracl9645no team will want to trade down from this draft unless you’re offering a stupid package. They would want an A prospect going the other way, something I do not see Chicago doing. Korchinski ? Reichel ? Nazar ? I don’t think teams will be interested in 2nd or 3rd picks.
@@m4t67u I agree, it IS unlikely, but if a team is moving down approx. 8 spots and they think they can get a player they like at No. 20, getting the No. 20 and No. 34 picks and possibly the No 60 2nd round pick might work for some teams. This is not a very deep draft and I don't see anyone getting a superstar below the top 6-8 lottery picks. Incidentally, I would include Reichel or Nolan Allen in a package, if necessary, to get Cole Eiserman.
Grab the stud RH D-man, then select best available at 20 regardless of position.
Could you see Chicago using their 20 overall pick and moving up to get one of those defenseman that you’re talking about?
Absolutely no way
I don’t think any of the top 15 teams are willing to trade down honestly
They should definitely be trying, they have a ton of 2nd and third round picks this year and the next couple of years. Would look at teams like NJ and BUF for potential trades as both teams are in win now mode with NJ not having a 2nd rounder this year and Buffalo having a ton of forward prospects coming up soon. They could use those picks to even trade for players right now. Something like Demidov at 2 and a trade up for Yakemchuk would be best case scenario.
@@israelrocha28783 second round picks I believe 2 third round picks. They don’t need all those picks and need more quality for an already top 10 prospect
Pool that has depth
If im KD I'm going Levshunov. Right defense seems to be at a premium and we have a lot if forwards. I would also be fine with demidov tho
Demidov RW , Greentree LW , perfect.
As a hawks fan I want Levshunov, Demidov is amazing but they already have a good amount of forward prospects and the 2025 draft class has tons of good sized forwards. I love Korchinski, Vlasic and Jones but none of them are #1 defensemen. Levshunov can be that guy and maybe even more
I know that you arent a fan of Chicago but thanks for making this draft video. I hope we select Demidov but I would also be very happy with Levshunov.
I hope the Stars win the cup this year (now that my belief in Carolina has plummeted lol).
As a Hawks fan, I just want Davidson to go best player available. I will be thrilled with many different picks.. lots of guys to love here. I would be thrilled with Demidov, Lindstrom, or Levshunov.
Do the Sharks 14 pick next! 🦈
Demidov please
Cole Eiserman would be fantastic with Bedard. You gotta take Demitov. Hage at 20. Demitov compares to Duysuk. Some scouts say the next kuecerof. Only one season left in Russia. Unless the worry is he reaups. I can see the Hawks reaching here though to. Iginla or Parehek..
I think they shouldn’t think twice about it and go Demidov. Get your dman next years draft
Or just buy or trade for one :)
my fingers are crossed for Levshunov
Chicago should trade their #2 pick for Montréal’s 5th in return of Mailloux or Xhekaj
Then pick Eiserman or Lindstrom .
And at 20th the best RW still available
Best depth move and short term protection for Bedard’s future.
Montréal get the #1 forward for the franchise in Demidov
Montreal says no lol
@@m4t67u I agree.
Let the negotiation start from there👍
I still feel that Montreal should go up… or try to add another pick between 10-16th range to get a good forward
Such a stupid trade. Sorry you want the habs to possibly trade two top 4 D for one 1st line winger? Like how does that even make sense lol just draft Iginla, Catton or Lindstrom and keep the defensman that they have developed for the last 4 years.
Take a defence man, they have a strong young forward core.
Assuming they're trying to build a perennial contender, they should probably go with Levshunov.
Look at how important Bouchard has been these playoffs for Edmonton. Look at Dobson. Look at McAvoy. Even Seider. Levshunov could be a whole lot like these incredibly important players
They’re going to pick Demidov.
Great Video, as usual, Nathan. Along with The Rangers, I'm A Huge Chicago Blackhawks Fan & I'm interested to see who it'll be, according to you
Silayev at 2 PLEASEEEE dudes going to be a FORCE he can do everything levshenov can do at 6’7😭😭
I do hope Chicago picks Demidov this way the Ducks can pick Levshunov and solidify the top offensive D-core int he NHL... in a few years.
San Jose should take Dickinson after celebrini even if it means trading up in the draft
Logjam at forward? We have 2 good prospects and they are centers. Nazar and moore. After that we have lardis and hayes further out and further down. We have no forwards
And neither were that great last year especially Moore. Nazar looked good in the world juniors and on the hawks though. Moore is meh so far. Hopefully he steps up big this next year in the ncaa
Where does Aron Kiviharju fall too? He’s all over the place in the rankings
Probably 2nd round
I could see the Blackhawks taking two forwards in round one. I don’t think there’s any chance they take two defensemen.
Hey I’m a newer hockey fan and was wondering if anybody could answer if Russian players value is hurt by ongoing global tension?
Good video grav thanks for doing the hawks!! And I agree take demidov we are loaded on d even tho we dont have nearly as many right d as we do left so Demi or lev is win win and at 20 I do like jirichek id MBN for sure great vid thanks grav
Anaheim next
They should pick Levshunov so the Ducks can pick Demidov lol
Do one of these videos for the ducks!!!
Could the Blackhawks trade the 2nd and 20th picks to move to the 1st pick? I don't think I'd do anything like that, but . . .
Chicago likes to pick great skaters, who amongst these best fills that priority?
Demidov. Without question. End of story.
Trade second overall pick to the leafs for marner lol. Leafs get cap relief and a young stud, and hawks accelerate the rebuild and get a star first liner to play with Bedard next season
Doesn’t really fit the hawks timeline right now
Fck the Leafs
9 players need to be extended and CHI has 10M cap space lol.
At 20 they're going for Illinois home boy Cole Hutson. They made the mistake of passing on his brother once, won't do it again.
OFFER MATHESON AND PICK 25 TO CHICAGO OR ANAHEIM FOR PICK AND GET LINDSTROME AND PICK CATTON AT HABS PICK 5 AND GET THE BEST FORWARD POUND FOR POUND IN THE DRAFT! CATTON ..... 3 BIG POWER FORWARDS, ONE FOR EACH OF THE TOP 3 LINES IN LINDSTROM, DACH, AND SLAF. BECK, EVANS, AND BIG ARMIA ON THE 4TH LINE
I don't think Lindstrom is getting out of the top 3 overall
Surprisingly Damidov could go first overall. Why is everybody so sure Celebrini will go first?
quick question why are all your videos about the draft when the nhl playoffs are on. just feels like you have so much easy content to create that people are looking for every night
I don't think you can pass on Demidov......
Points per game stats MHL, in draft year:
Demidov: 2.04
Kucherov: 1.41
Panarin: 1.16
Kaprizov: 0.67
Levshunov 100%
There is zero chance that the Blackhawks draft Eiserman #2 overall. What are you talking about?
Demidov. End thread. That’s it. BPA AND what they NEED. we have zero forward depth
Along with other players you could probably get a 1st or 2nd round pick at 50% retained, but by himself probably not
Murphy busted his back 4 or 5 years ago. He’s been injury prone ever since. His value MAYBE is 3rd at best
Levshunov
Montreal will draft demidov
Fuck it,draft Cayden Lindstrom
No they don’t outside thier already NHLers their prospects are trash. Chiacgo won’t trade with Montreal unless you do 5OA + Reinbacher at a minimum.
Levshunov isn’t even projected to be a #1 D by most, I hate the idea of that
@@agenterfTell me you don't know prospects without telling me you don't know prospects. You probably never watched a single game or World Junior too 😂?
@@Polaflamme who good is in ur system rn???
Don’t draft demidov and let him fall to 5 for habs 🙏 😭
Trade up for Celebrini
Won’t happen
You go with the RD Chicago has two first rounders next year seen the prospects wingers you can get. For 20th you take Connelly if available otherwise make a package to draft higher for Eiserman . Chicago is rebuilding you get two high drafts next year then dip into free agency .
I don't know that Connelly is even on Chicago's board. Considering how quickly they acted on the Perry situation likely due to the extra scrutiny they're under from fans after the Brad Aldrich situation, I don't see them going for someone with Connelly's off ice issues.
I think this is going to be one of those drafts where one or two of the latter picks has more success then the top picks.
As an Utah fan I think Chicago should really just pick Eiserman at 2.😏
Trade the pick for Mitch Marner.
You built from defense first...so Levshunov !
Hawks will trade 2nd pick to habs to add Matheson and pick #25 for habs pick Davidov or Lindstrom. Habs will also pick at 5 and add Catton or Iginla so a solid offensive skill to add to a strong D. Hawks need a strong D AND MATHESON WILL FIT THE BUILD.
Yeah less than zero percent chance of this happening
Lineup; Suzuki, Cole, and Lindstrom, Dach, Slaf and Mesar, Newhook, Roy, and IGINLA OR Catton, Beck, Evans and Armia. for our best offensive and defensive 4th line in decades! Thats a cup challenge no matter how it unfolds. AND MSL!! GHG!
This might be the worst mock trade I’ve seen, why would Chicago want a 30 year old defensmen. Chicago would never give that pick up so yall habs fans need to give up already
that’s a wild dream brother 😂
They'll draft a bust regardless
And why is that?
