Parents need to be good role models for their children to help them develop good emotional maturity.Jennifer appears to be exemplary in her parental role. She says she walked into her relationship with Ben with her eyes wide open. She needs to forgive herself for choosing this relationship. Take another RISK...we only live once . She appears to have forgiven him but I hope she does not forget and moves on to a relationship with a trustworthy partner. There is more pressure this time because her childrens emotional needs must be safeguarded.

emilia RODRIGUEZ What you said is a social construct. I do not see why fathers can not share that role. They would if society created that narrative. The more we keep saying that "mothers are he backbone of families", the less chance that fathers will start sharing that role, which would be desirable and good for society if they stepped up their game.
