I would pick fine jewelry! It’s something thet’ll look good forever plus you can wear it even when you’re at home. I feel like you’ll get more use out of it! I purchased myself two necklaces for Christmas this year! :) hope this helps!
It seems like maybe you’re leaning towards the two jewelry designers you mentioned which are heavily hyped on social media … is the same way you gravitated towards certain bag designers because they were “heavily on social media” as you mentioned. Maybe look for something more unique? Estate jewelry? Something not everyone else has at the moment?
Oh wow! Estate Jewelry isn’t something I’ve considered. I will have to research that. I must say, however, I see the value of “these” brands of jewelry differently from handbags. Essentially, if it’s not Hermés, handbag value depreciation is exponential for such a quick loss of interest. Particularly when I only end up selling them off. VCA or Cartier is something I can wear while spending the day at home or out and about. The cost per wear ends up being Pennie’s on the dollar over a shorter time. That’s something I can live with. Not my handbags collecting dust on a shelf.
