A cheaper way by boat from Punta Sabbioni to Venice

  • Venice is cool to visit, but expensive to get around! A single ticket valid for 75 minutes on the local transport, including boats, trains and buses, costs €9.50. So I went in search of alternatives, and found Marco Polo boats for just €5, which got me over to Venice and from there I could walk on to the train station to continue my journey. Hope this video is useful if you find yourself in a similar situation, next year now since it's October as I publish this and the service only operates until September! Guess I should work a bit more on optimising my upload schedule!

Snotty git, had no intention of helping you with your Italian, and did he short-change you? You gave him a €20 note and looks like he gave you a €10 note and four €1 coins. No grazie from him either. I suppose most people get a return ticket and he didn't like you bucking the trend. €5 for that short boat trip is still steep, I reckon. How was Treviso?

😂 You're right there, he didn't short change me though, I think one of them was a two euro coin. Yep a bit steep but when in Rome (or Venice...)
Treviso coming up soon! Not sure if I'll get it out this week but we'll see how busy I am with work and my next trip!
