Me too! The radio and TV harmony back then is unmatched! It was simple. Never will it be like that again. Media avenues have become over populated there will never every be a balance of TV and radio; you won't go from your car radio and see the song you just listened to on MTV.

It’s an astonishing song. It makes me feel as I did when I first started listening to it years ago, like a trance, or a weird hallucination, and it’s soothing yet challenging. I don’t have the words. Rare a song can take you back into a memory while creating a new one.

I give credit to Steve the guitarist for trying to hone in the tone of the guitar even while he was playing even adjusting the equalizer on the guitar in between a few notes. It shows that he truly cares about the end result of the sound coming out and he's doing his best to make it sound as good as possible for the audience. He's still cranking out great music of course and it's just nice to see a musician care when they are on stage even after probably close to 10,000 performances over the years. Way to go Steve.

In an era when so many 80s bands are using almost exclusively pre-recorded tracks in concert it is great to see an act like this play live music, live and sound great doing it.

I remember having a Steve Stevens solo cassette tape in the '80s. His guitar playing outside of Billy Idol was quite expansive bordering on Prog w some classical thrown in. Steve is an amazing player. Billy Idol has always been a fun listen. I used to listen to the entire Rebel Yell on repeat when I was in college
Steve Stevens Atomic Playboys album is great! He's a guitar great and can play so well in different styles. In that way he reminds me of Randy Rhoads. Such talent! I prefer Stevens playing, but not trying to compare their greatness. Just that they're both incredibly talented and diverse.

Billy is great ! And he had one of the greatest guitar players in history ! This guy should get the same recognition as Eddy Van Halen and Clapton. One of the greatest guitar players ever. Gave Billy his signature sound and his solos on Rebel Yell and White Wedding and Eyes without a face are OUTSTANDING !! And gave Billy the edge his voice needed to project. And he stayed with Billy all these years. I didn't say his name because I want people to Google him and find out for themselves. He truly is an unsung hero. Reminds me of a time. 1985 ish. My brother and I had taken a mind boggling does of LSD on the way to see the "Grace Under Pressure" tour of RUSH at "The Forum" in Los Angeles.
So, we pull in behind a gas station at the interaction of 'whatever an whatever' across from The Forum. I had a cool 70's-80's party van with blinds. We 'blinded up' and started smoking and coming on hard.....
At the bridge of this song I knew, we either push onto the show or end up peaking 10 hours behind this gas station in my van....So, thank you Billy Idol for your psychedelic stewardship.
We made it to the show and of course were RUSH'ed. Cheers!!!
