These are useful to those of us who shit on the company's dime. I usually spend a couple hours every day on the throne while playing games, but I hate not having enough juice to take calls when I'm done with my paperwork. These are great!
I have one, it does what its supposed to do. I have an iPhone 11 and was able to fully charge the phone and still have 1 LED light up on the indicator. I just ignore 8000 mAh rating and consider to be a ~4500 mAh battery. I've been curious about the type of batteries are in the ONN charger. I've seen other ~4000 mAh that are slimmer and it makes me wonder if the ONN charger is using cylindrical cells as opposed to the flat cells. But, I don't want to take apart mine because it still works.
I'll follow up for him. First let me start by saying that I had to use a plethora of similar products when I worked for an Amazon DSP delivery company. They saved my rear end many times. I've not really had much experience with ONN until I bought a ONN phone case That's been better than any Otter box commuter that I've ever owned. So when I saw I was in the market for a portable power bank for my phone and when I saw these for like $10 dollars yeah I bought one and so far it still works great. I'm planning on getting another one. So definitely works for the price.
I'm trying to find videos on how to work this, I've never used a portable charger before n there's no videos. It's all unboxing n rating it. How do you use it??
The Lil cird in the bix, plug small end in your cell phone, the other end plug into an adapter aka box..plug box into the wall plug. All Lil lights on side of black one charger will light up green, when fully charges. Carry onn charger , in purse or ? When phone dies or low, plug Lil cord into phone & other end into black onn ...till cell phone at 💯 Hope I didn't confuse y'all. 😅
Same here n all I'm seeing is opening the package then they read it lol .. I can do that myself . I have one blinking blue light... I've had it charging all night n still have one blinking blue light ... What am I doing wrong
It charges via micro-USB input, it comes with the charging cable but no brick, you'll have to find one to wall charge or charge from your laptop. The output is via USB-A, take your charging cable out of its brick and plug into the charger. I believe the newer iPhones aren't compatible as their bricks take USB-C, you'll need an adapter, USB-C to USB-A.
You will not get 2 charges out of these. The rated capacity vs actual capacity is caused by the voltage difference. The charging process boost to 5V which your device generally take in, and will cause quit a bit of loss. ONN brand uses very cheap voltage converter circuits, so it loses even more of that capacity... Honestly, spend a few extra bucks and get Anker brand... Anker is the best "affordable" brands and almost everything is super well designed from an electrical engineering prospective.
You really won't know the difference until you buy a name brand one with better charging circuits to realize the difference. I opened one of these and the circuit is as cheap as they can build it, so it's not at all energy efficient...
You showed me what was in the package. I saw that at the store. It's 10 minutes on my life I'm not getting back. No I don't have a suggestion for a better battery, I have a suggestion for a better video. What's wrong with you?

@JPD3557 do yourself a favor and get an anker or better brand that does fast charging! These onn ones pale in comparison

Do you charge the bank itself on the large usb a or the usd-c? Or are they both inputs and also outputs?
It charges via micro-USB input, it comes with the charging cable but no brick, you'll have to find one to wall charge or charge from your laptop.
The output is via USB-A, take your charging cable out of its brick and plug into the charger. I believe the newer iPhones aren't compatible as their bricks take USB-C, you'll need an adapter, USB-C to USB-A.
How do u charge the charger
Power on and off??
Ok can you get to the point on how to use the portable charger
I'm charging mine and the first led keeps flashing is that normal? It was completely dead
On the 4 dot it takes long to fully charge.

I'm using mine to charge a fan

That's interesting because I get two charges out of mine and my phone has a 5,000 milliamp battery 🤷🏾♂️.
I’ve had mine for 3 years. Zero complaints

Have you opened one of these? Any idea if it uses cylindrical cells?
ONN has multiple variants of this, even for the same capacity. The one I bought is not cylindrical, it's typical cell pack.
Very long intro
