Vesti is the 3rd or 4th best option. What is good about Vesti is that he has the best average in attributes. Yes, overall is not the average, cornering counts way more than adaptability for instace. It's like this: - Pourchaire is the youngest and with the best growth rate. You can afford to have him 4 years as a reserve and he will be growing a lot. -Piastri as a lot of pace but severy lack smothness. He lacks so much of it that it will cost you 1 and a half years worth of development points so that he can bring his smothness up. - Vesti is the opposite, lacks pace but is good on the things Piastri is bad. But again if you calculate the avreage he his the best rookie, meaning that once you bump his pace, hes actually decent in all the rest. - Dohaan also severy lacks smothness but is more balanced than Piastri. If you develop them smart they will ALL be very good drivers. You just need to know what to develop, Vesti needs cornering, braking, reactions and accuracy, Piastri needs smoothness overtaking, defending and reactions.
Very very good points you raise but here’s my thinking for why vesti isn’t really that great. 1. Smoothness is an important stat but I feel it’s much better to start off with higher pace because if you have a competitive car you can go on aggressive 2 stops and even with 1 stops they cope fine. It’s obviously not perfect but it will do. 2. I think the consistency stats (apart from smoothness obviously) of piastri and doohan as well as their pace stats are definitely better than Vesti because with him you have to upgrade his pace to make him quick whereas with doohan and piastri you could focus on smoothness or you could focus on making them stupidly quick (which is what I’m doing)
@@tiagoferreira5368 i Went with Doohan, kept him for 1 year as reserve then put him at car 2 with 76 rating. Currently 80, smoothness up tô 73 and control 91 but he keeps crashing at every race, 80 rated and sadly still trash.
That’s what I never understood from the start. Porchaire and doohan are both great for development for a future drive while piastri is alright for a drive immediately. That’s the only reason I guess
Pourchare is best overall, but Piastri is better in raw pace. So one of those 2
I’d personally say piastri because he’s better already and has nearly as much growth potential as pourchaire. Both great options though
Interesting
Indeed. Goatifis still king though
Fredrick Vesti?
Probably not tbh. He’s got some pretty poor stats compared to some others

doohan is 17 years old an have 72 rating
Yeah and porchaire has a 71 rating at 16. Pretty mad tbh
@@Kinggrave true and everyone is going for piastri 😂
