- In this video, I will be discussing my take on how Brandi from the film A Think Line Between Love & Hate was not only the movie villan, she was also a victim in many ways.
She was crazy but he also did her wrong!
Honestly I didn’t feel sorry for Darnell. You can’t play with people’s emotions. She said from jump to leave her alone and he wouldn’t. So he made his bed and had to lay in it
Darnell shoulda kept his promise and went to her house for her b-day. That's when she STARTED to become unhinged. Always keep your promise to a woman of interest.
She was crazy regardless.. plenty of chick's that's been disappointed on a bday they don't act like that
Brandi, took it to the extreme. I mean, Darnell did her wrong and dirty but the woman was badly hurt before. She confessed to him what she had done to her x husband. Darnell was blinded by her cookie and still rolled with it knowing she may have a few loose screws. I'm not applauding to what Brandi did but Darnell had it coming one way or the other. Brandy was the hero in the movie
I won't say he deserved it but his actions caused the consequences. Also, I want to point out that she said she killed her ex because he was emotionally and physically abusive. So of course this woman has some mental triggers that he was made well aware of. Yet, he still played her with no remorse.

She's not innocent but she was a victim. She wasn't innocent because down the line you could see that she's possessive which is never a good thing. She's also a victim of Darnell's lies. He played with her emotions just to get her in bed and stood her up on her birthday. Her history with men isn't good as she was physically abused and cheated on. Darnell should have taken the hint when she kept rebuffing his advances at first. I think Brandy was still healing from her past while with Darnell.
He presented himself in an honest way. All the things you said he did to win her over was innapropriate. Finding out where she worked and sending her gifts, pretending to be a client to give her gifts that were very personal (how'd he find that out?). Only an "emotionally unstable" person would not be alarmed!
I have never watched this movie (but it's on Tubi so I'll definitely give it a watch), but whenever someone talks about this movie, it sounds like he saw her on the streets and stalked her! That being said, it's definitely wrong to play with people's emotions, and I have a strong detest for people who do!
I like to think that we thought she was the villains but Darnell was the real villains. Brandi was the anti-hero of the movie
He pursued her, she fell victim to his charm. Yes, she is a victim of his deception but she's not innocent. She was manipulative as well. Lynn and Regina are gorgeous

Part 2 Brandi Like Darnell Wasn't Over Her Past Either.She Was Still Dealing With Emotional And Physical Abuse From Ex Lover And Him Cheating On Her Really Mess Up Her Mental State And Made Her Overly Obsessive And Untrusting With People Expecially Man.She Wanting To Live In World Of No Disappoints. Brandi Still Had Trust Issues That's Why She Was Sufficating Darnell With Expensive Suits,She Told Him He Didn't Have To Work At The Club Anymore,She Let Him Ride In Her Limo All Day Long So Her Limo Drivers Can Keep An Eye On Him.Her Untrusting Made Her Possessive Angry And Violent All Though Darnell Brought All This On Himself And Deserved Every Misery He Got,He Didn't Deserve To Die And Brandi Went Over Board There.Unless It's Self Defense And Fighting For Your Life, There's No Excuse For Murder.THE END.

Part 1 Honestly In My Opinion I Think They Both Are Wrong 1.Darnell Was Wrong To Go After Her For A Bet He Made With His Friend T And Telling Her He Loved Her When He Didn't.While He Was Chasing Brandi,He Was Not Totally Over His Past,His Childhood Friend Mia Who He Really Loved.By The Time He Only Wanted To Be With Mia He Decided To Give Up His Player Lifestyle Along With The Woman He Told He He Loved Brandi And She Warned Him That She Can't Be Hurt And He Didn't Listen And He Deserves The Consequences He Got. She was wrong and crazy... If someone doesn't want you, accept it, move on........... No one is obligated to stay with you or love you, not even a spouse. If someone wants out, respect that, respect yourself and let them go.

And if that someone gives an ultimatum talking like they're ready to go to the next level or phase, but they're not; then that's wrong too! Be honest with someone. He knew he couldn't get sex from Brandi so he kept luring her taking advantage of her then all of a sudden wants to end the relationship!
