+danilom951 ??? It wasn't a split decision. It was a majority decision. BIG difference.... and the judge who scored the 114-114 was CJ Ross..... You probably don't know who that is, but she is no longer a judge after Floyd vs Canelo because that was the third fight she ROYALY fucked up..... The other two judges had the fight 117-111 and 116-112.... Yet she scored it 114-114.....?? yeah ok. Tell me she wasn't on the fix...... Another fight she fucked up was Pacqauio vs Bradley There are only 5 people in the entire world who think Bradley beat Manny and CJ Ross was one of them..... but Floyd vs Canelo was her last fight as judge because she was forced to quit because of her boxing incompetence..... so not only were you wrong in your reply, but you also don't understand what youre watching.
the thing is Mayweather was fully aware of Canelo's strength; May was about keeping his composer and tighten up for any of Canelo's hits to lessen the damage, he made sure any other Canelo's attacks were not effective as it naturally should be. Khan did not so, if you watch him, he over commits his attacks while disregarding the potential of getting counterrd would damage him severslly, thus that glass chin of khan was still NOT ready to trade push. i think khan focus too much on his speed without knowing the parts he shouldve be aware would be a big consequence
I'm just reminding people. Max Kellerman should say " fight him again" because many people don't know and many people forgot they fought and it wasn't close for a rematch he lost everything round.
I kind of think Mayweather could beat GGG. Floyd simply doesn't not engage enough for GGG to hit him well. And we know that GGG is easy to hit. But on another note, GGG destroys Canelo by KO.
+marc alba The reason Floyd can get by on just his defense is his jab, he can use it to keep his opponent at bay. But he doesn't have enough power in those pinches to keep GGG at bay. Also, GGG is great with cutting off the e
now this is how you breakdown fights take every single variable into account no matter how big or small and no biased answer what you see is what you get
Khan is bigger that Floyd so no excuses for this loss Khan admitted he struggles to make welterweight and not for getting Floyd went up in weight to fight Canelo and on fight night he out weighed him by 20 lbs so stop praising Khan for being brave when Floyd did it first
Outside of his occasional HBO bias, Max Kellerman is very knowledgeable when it comes to boxing. It's a shame that boxing media is so agenda driven. And its true on both sides, not only the HBO guys.
Nah it's not a bias. HBO just has the better fighters on the planet. Gonzales, Ward, Kovalev, Crawford, GGG and Canelo, Loma and others. It sounds like bias but how can it not when they are division rulers. But yes, he is very knowledgeable. I hear him give props to fighters on the other side of the street when it's deserved.
el Chino Trollin It is bias, they do it for the company's interest. And yea, they do have some of the best fighters, outside of Lara, Thurman and Floyd my fav fighters are on HBO.
+Ruben Sanchez it's just the truth. How can he talk down ward and Roman when they are clearly the best. He talks great about Floyd a lot too when he was on HBO and on SHO too. He's fairly neutral. Just happens that HBO has great fighters so it sounds like bias when it's just simply truth.
el Chino Trollin That's not the point lol, hear the commentary during the fights, and you'll see what i mean. But everyone else does it aswll. People just focus on HBO because they like the other side of things, thats all.
Floyd Mayweather Jr. beat Pacquiao. But this fool says Pacquiao is the best of this generation. Floyd even beat Canelo. The guy they were just watching. Smh.
So... Max is saying that GGG's skill set is the same as Floyd's? The weight is the only thing dividing them? No effing way. Floyd still wins that fight! Too much emphasis on size. Canelo was 175 on fight night when he fought Floyd... Childs play. Stop saying GGG is great until he fights someone else who's great! Damn. Canelo has something for GGG's ass.
I agree gotta see GGG fight a big name. Canelo has the edge due to his experience under the brightest of lights. These lights I speak of put off a different type of heat. PPV heat
mayweather beats canelo again in a rematch not debate. khans speed had him confused, mayweather is just a fast as khan without combination punches. more smarter
I had the fight in the following way: rds 1-4 for Khan, rds 5 and well into 6 for Canelo before the stoppage. No way the two judges had that card correct. that was just wrong. Khan's movement, stick and move, east-west not north-south movement was working well. He was doing what I thought he needed to do to win, which was: box a perfect fight. But the great thing about boxing is anything can happen and adjustments can be made. I love this sport!
the cards mean nothing it's a k.o. And although Kahn seemed to move well laterally he was not landing many clean punches and he was getting hit with some body shots so the judges a lot of times see what we dont
This is just my personal opinion but Canelo could never beat Mayweather. His style is all wrong. Canelo is an extremely powerful spurt fighter and a superb counter puncher but he struggles immensely with movers (last night was an example). Mayweather has excellent movement along with a piston-like job that will simply give Canelo fits. Even if Canelo was allowed to weigh in at 154 when they fought, he still would've lost.
+Irvin Morales I wouldn't say (never) he has a chance at beating Floyd if he lands a big punch but 9/10 times Floyd will win unless canelo gets better at fighting these (movers) like u said canelo still struggles on them, lara, trout, Floyd and khan all gave him problems I personally thought canelo was going to do better on khan im not sure what his game plan was but he was hella lazy most of the time, that being said canelo would beat any come forward fighter out their easily even ggg.
I seriously doubt Canelo will easily beat GGG. GGG is not just a pressure fighter. He has excellent defense along with great counter punching. I've seen GGG show superior timing compared to Canelo. Canelo may have faster handspeed, but timing beats speed 10 times out of 10.
Ggg is too technical for canelo. Ggg is no ordinary pressure fighter. He's very well rounded and very tricky. His skills tend to be heavily underrated.
+Mayweather80 Plus Floyd has a hell of a chin (Mosley fight). Even if Canelo manages to land that big shot, he'll more than likely not be able to finish Floyd off. Plus Floyd literally adapts on the fly or by the next round. He's just smarter than Canelo.
we all want Canelo/GGG..idk if Pacman or May will come out of retirement. Pacman vs Canelo, and then May vs GGG..n winners of them go at it would be nuts lol
Come on Max. I respect your opinion but Canelo has gotten too big and too good for a fight with Floyd to make sense. That's no discredit to Floyd, but a fight with him at this point just isn't fair, just like the Khan fight wasn't fair.
I highly doubt size really matters when it comes to Mayweather. The man may be fast and evasive, but I'd choose him to win any fight because he boxes with his head and manages to figure out his opponents. Plus he has great defence and has never been knocked out. GGG and Canelo are never gonna beat him on points and they're never gonna knock him out so it's pretty obvious floyd would win
+ethiopianeyes you do realize that Canelo/Cotto outsold May/Berto right? 900k to 400k. Or maybe you don't. So not "anyone". MayGGG would outsell CaneloGGG tho.
+Selma I don't disagree with you, but Mayweather will never become pound for pound the best because he never took risks his last 10 years of his career. His most exciting fights were his early ones, when he put it on the line and would actually go through adversity, and all of his fights after De La Hoya were snoozers. The true middle weight legends, Roberto Duran, Sugar Ray Leanard, Marvelous Marvin Hagler and Thomas Hearns, they all knew how to put on a show. If Canelo does not fight GGG by next year, he'll be taking a page from Floyd.
+angloirishcad That fight was awesome. That was my favorite Floyd fight. He made Fatton's Fan's put the drums and cybals away , cease their gay ass soccer chanting, and head back over the pond w/ their tails between their legs.
Canelo is a coward he's making money and commercials right now and he knows a lost to GGG will take that all away he can talk the talk but he wont fight GGG unless it's a mandatory fight
Max speaking a truth that the self proclaimed legend Floyd Mayweather knows. The skilled big man beats the skilled little man every time. GGG would tune Floyd the hell up, and there's no way Floyd makes that fight.
Mcgregor vs Mayweather is the only buzz left for Mayweather........ There you go Mcgregor, "The reason a great big man beats a great smaller man is because when you get to a certain level size does matter because other things are more or less equalized" ~ Kenny Florian
If canelo vs ggg happens and if canelo beats ggg i think that would be enough to convince the majority of fans that canelo could possibly beat mayweather.
great performance by my dude canelo....but hell mayweather would still totally clean his clock tbh... Mayweather is just on another lvl tbh...TBE. Still great job to canelo...but the win was to be expected....but khan was winning up until the knock out
ahhhhh watching max kellerman talk boxing is like watching a bob ross painting...and there it is ladies in gentelman, only in the streets will you see a little dude whoop a big dude, at the pro level of fighting, the bigger guy who is just as talented as the smaller guy will win the fight
Speed beats size now that the fights are at 12 rounds when it was 15 round the bigger guy had a chance to catch the rabbits (Louis- Conn) is an example. And for those that think that Mayweather doesent get the respect or credit, is because he put it on himself picking the fighters, and not fighting fighters at there prime, and picking Berto to closed his career, look at all the heat that Canelo is getting for not fighting GGG, that's boxing
+mando g Speed doesn't always beat size...because it's not that simple. We also have to take other boxing skills into consideration. who the fk is this guy to say something like that of canelos sharpness hhahahaha he talks like he is an experienced boxer and he even when into a ring for one fight. Man how can you know something only by watching if you never did it???? !!!!!!
+tasss550 you don't need to, bloke. The moment he mentioned Leonard-Benitez fight as one of the greatest fights of all time I knew the guy knows his onions.
+tasss550 im not gonna lie it did sound like he knew what he was talking about most of the time until he said ggg would be the favourite against mayweather....how can you go against 49-0 lol
Amazing cause all I seen was Floyd standing still and shoulder rolling/counter. On the ropes/counter . Canelo got humbled that night, believe THAT!!!!!
do u honestly think if mayweather & pacquiao faught back when it was hot instead of making us wait 6yrs u really think mayweather would've won honestly.
under 160 floyd may be favored against anyone but as max pointed out the good big man beats the good little man so in the case of mayweater vs lara who has just about equal boxing skills, erislandy lara being the bigger man could probably beat floyd mayweather....
@@forest282 I know it's 6 years later so you probably don't care but Diego corrales was 4 inches taller, had a slight reach advantage, weighed 10lbs more, had more power, and was highly skilled and yet he got completely dominated
I love how Max takes command of the interview. He truly knows his boxing.
Armando Ruiz yeah but sometimes I wonder if he knows about boxing or he just knows a lot about the fights and fighters he talks about
Armando Ruiz eh sometimes he says some questionable things
canelo can't catch floyd with that punch which bring khan down. Floyd throw a single punch with accuracy and leave at the same time
Mayweather is still the biggest name in the sport even though he's retired! lol
"Retired"
Salt
Max knows his $HIT!!!!
I agree heavily. If Canelo wanted another loss on his record he would fight him in a rematch
Floyd will still box circles around him
+Ruben Sanchez you mean box and hug all day lmao
+Ace Gambit you know nothing about boxing. Floyd made Canelo look like a chump amateur.
+Van Iyke that's why it was a spilt decison
Van Iyke Exactly lmfao, I laugh when i see the comments these stupid fucks leave sometimes lol.

Great Interview
I agree. I'm a big Canelo fan. But Canelo has to up his game to beat FM.
He is just power he wouldn of lost the fight to Amir if he didn't catch him
Floyd is a master class in boxing he can make it boring or exiting .He fights according to the mood respect
he only run like a bitch ..thats shit is not fight
he only run like a bitch ..thats shit is not fight
Max is correct.
Mayweather is still the best...period.
+tom11zz884 caNELO WILL NEVER BE THERE WITH FLOYD PERIOD.

+Frederick Schjang Thats your opinion fucking peckerwood
I like listening to this guy break it down.
Damn he knows his shit. Mic drop.
lmfao. that show you most of those "reporter" are bunch of fan boys. can not answer one right question from MAX.
lol that was hard to watch
+Shanghai Shen lol that's what i was thinking too...they can't answer intellectual or specific questions...totally schooled 'em
All those #NEWMEDIA wannabes. Laughable
Lmao dazn sucks the shit outta of canelo so is even
Lets start one plain simple fact... No one will ever be able to unload a right like that on Floyd. Khan literally was not protecting his chin.
well said great break down of the weight classes at the end agree 100% true
I completely agree with max this time
Good stuff MAX#facts
+Joe Villagrana Get it out while u can cause when Trump put up that wall you messyskin wont be talking anymore...
Max Kellerman knows boxing.....good stuff...
A lot of people (including me) talk shit on Kellerman, but he was spot on in this interview. Nothing negative to say.
The saying goes, "a good big man beats a great little man."
max always amazes me with his boxing knowledge
I;m not a big Max Kellerman fan but he hits it right on the head here.
Khan is bigger that Floyd so no excuses for this loss Khan admitted he struggles to make welterweight and not for getting Floyd went up in weight to fight Canelo and on fight night he out weighed him by 20 lbs so stop praising Khan for being brave when Floyd did it first
wtf?
Exactly
Weighing more than a counter puncher isnt much of an advantage. It favours the counter puncher more.
Max to the Max!
"who would be the favorite south of 175" everyone there like ugghh?????
If only Floyd was 5 years younger
Everything he said was 100% correct.
Finally something I can agree with Max

lmao Floyd would still school Canelo if they were to fight again. Mayweather is no Amir Khan my friend.
+Suqqa bro Did you forget that Floyd schooled him in all 12 rounds, just a few years ago..
Delusional at its best.."too big and too good"..don't come here talking bullshit, Floyd would school him as he did with all the 49 before Canela
+Suqqa bro I think Floyd would beat him worse the second time around. Check out any of Floyd's rematches.

floyd vs thurman or broner would out sell canelo vs ggg
thurman?? Broner?? you smoking something. nothing right now will out sell GGG and Canelo.
+CordovaCoD except mayweather fighting anyone. he could fight a 3 legged blind 1t year old dog and outsell anyone
+CordovaCoD Mayweather vs GGG would sell out Canelo vs GGG
+ethiopianeyes you do realize that Canelo/Cotto outsold May/Berto right? 900k to 400k. Or maybe you don't. So not "anyone". MayGGG would outsell CaneloGGG tho.
well said ... well said
Size can never beat speed! @ Max Kellerman
AMIR KHAN BOXES AGAINST CANELO = GREAT BOXING
FLOYD DOES MUCH BETTER = HE WAS RUNNING
ladies and gentleman, double standards at its finest
+Selma I don't disagree with you, but Mayweather will never become pound for pound the best because he never took risks his last 10 years of his career. His most exciting fights were his early ones, when he put it on the line and would actually go through adversity, and all of his fights after De La Hoya were snoozers. The true middle weight legends, Roberto Duran, Sugar Ray Leanard, Marvelous Marvin Hagler and Thomas Hearns, they all knew how to put on a show. If Canelo does not fight GGG by next year, he'll be taking a page from Floyd.
chuyesque what a load of shit you just spilled
he knows what his talking about
He knows his shit
Max Kellerman know what da fuck he talking about. FACTS
I find it so easy to not like this guy

+Edward Jones I've always like Max ever since his old espn show he used to have. I don't remember what it was called though
+Erel H L He probably bet against GGG in most fights and lost his money miserably.
+Irvin Morales Nah, he probably just hates him cuz he's white. Dude smells like a racist to me.
Floyd Mayweather owes nothing to boxing, and boxing doesn't deserve to see him back in the ring. I hope he stays retired.
only to knock the shit out or EMBARRASS the crap out of Conor!!
Max usually annoys me but he was spot on here
And to think, Mayweather beat Canelo soundly.
Kinda sad Mayweather doesn't get any recognition for his talent.
+Den V. He does in the UK...knocked out Ricky Hatton
+angloirishcad That fight was awesome. That was my favorite Floyd fight. He made Fatton's Fan's put the drums and cybals away , cease their gay ass soccer chanting, and head back over the pond w/ their tails between their legs.
angloirishcad Yea, Floyd talks a lot shit but he backs it up. And no denying his talent.
But this clown McGregor gets more praise.
"Canelo Alvarez was 16 years old when they fought! Canelo Alvarez had dropped out of high school to fight Floyd Mayweather, the boy was 15 years old."
🤔........😂😂😂😂😂
LMFAOO YOU’RE DUMB 🤣
Bro was 23
Canelo is a coward he's making money and commercials right now and he knows a lost to GGG will take that all away he can talk the talk but he wont fight GGG unless it's a mandatory fight
Once Canelo's naturally 160, he'll be too big for Floyd as well. Some people have been saying that Saul's already GGG's size
max Kellerman 👍👏
And he still isn't.
actually if pac or may fought danny garcia its bigger than ggg vs canelo
Max speaking a truth that the self proclaimed legend Floyd Mayweather knows. The skilled big man beats the skilled little man every time. GGG would tune Floyd the hell up, and there's no way Floyd makes that fight.
Floyd should come back I have trouble sleeping at night
Max stay schooling these reporters
i agree...thurman vs Canelo or triple G or paquiao would be good....Maidana in shape would also be sooo good

Why even talk about that guy
He needs to learn to cut the ring and become a 100% pressure fighter all 12 rounds.
+iiCamaxtli I think a lot of people missed that Canelo was actually setting up a trap. Khan ate it so well that he never expected that overhand right.
Lmao 3:38 max becomes a teacher asking the Students a question in the class room...and all the dumb kids answering wrong
I agree
khan isn't top 20 in p4p and isnt top 5 in welter weight how is that the same as mosely a undefeated champ vs de la hoya smh
amir khan should change his surname to amir chin or glass chinny
great performance by my dude canelo....but hell mayweather would still totally clean his clock tbh...

If Sugar Ray Robinson was alive, he would disagree with Max.
Canelo to beat runweather has to train with a track runner trainer
+Mak Don Canelo has to train like a real champion. He gets tired and gets hand picked opponents.
+Mak Don Not runweather but smartweather ,after the fight of amir you can see the differnce between Floyd and the rest.
Amazing cause all I seen was Floyd standing still and shoulder rolling/counter. On the ropes/counter . Canelo got humbled that night, believe THAT!!!!!
Was the cameraman drunk? He can't even keep it still
do u honestly think if mayweather & pacquiao faught back when it was hot instead of making us wait 6yrs u really think mayweather would've won honestly.
+Dexter Walton you people live in "what ifs" thats not reality.
Doesn’t matter Floyd one
Khan and manny put it on
GGG isnt the best 160 so no, good promo tho, dude has to stop fighting amateurs first
under 160 floyd may be favored against anyone but as max pointed out the good big man beats the good little man so in the case of mayweater vs lara who has just about equal boxing skills, erislandy lara being the bigger man could probably beat floyd mayweather....
+forest282 Lara isn't that much bigger than Mayweather.
he's atleast 2 inches taller and slightly longer and hits harder...he's physically athletic as floyd too...
@@forest282 I know it's 6 years later so you probably don't care but Diego corrales was 4 inches taller, had a slight reach advantage, weighed 10lbs more, had more power, and was highly skilled and yet he got completely dominated
