Some people talking about her extreme growth but it was three years since we first met her to this point now. In three years it is totally believable she could develop that quickly. My sister did. I guess the only question would be how old she is.
Well if you're talking strictly about puberty, her development is pretty common. Like how boys can get growth spurts and they change overnight seemingly. girls go through the same thing between 11 and 15
1. she has mana 2. im pretty sure Lugh fed her as well as train her physically for 2 whole years. Lugh without knowing magic was able to jump from the ground to tree branches like ninja when he was 7 in ep 2
I am sorry Lugh. Spears are super easy to actually hide. Just give her a hiking stick, an umbrella or anything along those lines. I thought he was a professional assassin back in the day. Edit: While thinking about it. The whole conflict is pointless anyway, because they don't need to hide a weapon to begin with since Lugh can just create a spell for making a spear on the spot that he just teaches Tarte.
@@hubanjanath3265 I mean you can do something similar. Like make a folding spear. I mean umbrellas in our time are already able to fold into. Can't be that much harder than whatever Lugh made to hide under her clothes. Also, he should at least try, because the world acts on game logic. Meaning she won't be able to use the knife, because she doesn't have the skill assigned by the goddess. Depending on what category a weapon with the length of an umbrella or kane falls into, she might still be able to use it effectively.
@@Modie I don't think the technology for telescoping poles exists in their world. The folding version probably doesn't either outside of an otherworlder like Lugh creating it like this. Besides, someone carrying around a cane or umbrella doesn't make sense in many situations, like when she was undercover as a maid in the first episode. There's also no reason to force Tarte to use an umbrella spear when Lugh's solution is even better.
@@Compucles First of all, the technology for telescoping is not that hard. At least, it shouldn't be harder than to make a spear that splits into three parts and can be assembled easily (that also looks way easier in a show than it actually us). Secondly, if it's better depends on the situation. The advantage of a weapon hidden in a tool is that it can be drawn much quicker compared to a spear that you have to take out (which only works with a dress or skirt anyway) and then have to assemble. Not to mention that a wepon hidden in a tool makes for a better assassin as you can directly hide it again. I mean, if she draws her split-spear, everyone will notice, because you can't just put it away easily again. Futhermore, as I mentioned the world acts on game logic, so it would at least be an interesting idea to see what kind of weapons actually fall under the "spear" category. Even if you want to use the split-spear in the end, having a wider set makes sense anyway. Lastly, at the end of the day, the whole discussion is kind of pointless anyway, because Lugh could just create magic that makes a spear on the spot and then teach it to Tarte. She is able to do magic as was shown and he can teach new magic spells. So the whole conflict is kind of pointless anyway.
He can't teach her the spell though which is the problem. Create Copper is an earth elemental spell meaning you'd need an earth attribute to use the spell. We can assume this is also the case for the Create Metal spell he's using here to create the Spear. It is unlikely that her affinity is Earth as well as in the first episode, during the flash forward, unlike Dia who uses a Reload spell to reload the bullets in her gun, Tarte actually reloads the thing manually. She also doesn't use Fire spells to fire the bullets from her pistol meaning her affinity isn't Fire either most likely. Día and Lugh are most likely the only 2 out of the 4 capable of just creating weapons like that.
Definitely creepy. And Tarte's life is pretty sad in general. Have to wonder how far back the manipulation from the Goddess goes to directing her into Lugh's path? It could be that she was simply chosen for it because of her innate potential or she was downright selected from before she was born for it. Of course it's only sad from a distance. At this point she's so indoctrinated that even if he told her his whole reasoning that she'd be totally fine with it. It's pretty messed up. But I wouldn't expect anything less from an assassin who was himself indoctrinated and used like a tool by his previous organization. Cycles repeat themselves.
Well it is 2 soon to judge how he sees her. I'd say you would have to see more episodes before you judge the way he sees his companions. As for the Goddess, Based on the LN, she just chose people with innate potential and a fate of yearly death and threw them into his direction to use.
I think at the end of this same episode he tells her that the reason why he treats her so well is to win her heart because she needs him, so he's pretty honest with her. Also he and the dad had to make absolutely sure she wasn't a plant sent to double cross him later (I think that scene was also in this episode). So he kept her emotionally at arms length for a while. I don't think he'll necessarily repeat everything that was done to him. I think he genuinely likes her and will treat her less like a tool and more like a trusted ally going forward.
