Loved watching this -- totally captured the essence of the time, I can smell the weed through my laptop. I only wish I took more photos of dorm life while in college in PA, CMU 72-76.

I hear you brother. For some reason I took my Kodak 110 instamatic with me that semester. I wish I could have afforded more film back then😃. And your right on about the weed. If you had some, you were the most popular person in your dorm. Always someone willing to trade off a few cans of beer for a few hits. Even though it was only 15 dollars an ounce back then. Maybe twelve? if you were lucky. Except for all the stems and seed. At least that's what a friend tell me. ✌🧔‍♀

@@janneuteboomproductions Ha yes definitely found my buddy Steve by following the fragrance down the hall to his dorm room. I have a sensory memory of separating seeds and stems in a double album cover, and complaining about getting too much "shake". Indeed weed was dirt cheap then but we'd have to pay an upperclassman to go to the State Store for us to get a keg, or drive over the border to West Virginia with cash and a list of the booze we wanted. And I think the statute of limitations has expired but one night we made a quick run to the Iron City plant, circled the building a few times, and managed to throw a couple of pallets into the trunk. The best of times for sure.

An extremely nice College. A bit too far from Pittsburgh for his liking, so my son chose Kent State.
