To my subscribers: sorry for the Kenki Trio spam 🙏 I promise this is the last one I'll upload for this iteration. I just wanted something that was more searchable for other players in the future, and less tied to this specific version of the Abyss.
I love it. Recently got Eula on my alt account and having hard time in abyss trying to use her.
That mf cryo dashed 13 times in a row for me even using the dash trick, apparently I was doing something wrong. It was driving me crazy.

Ya, based on what others have told me, it seems like you have to tweak your timing a bit depending on your ping. I think you have to wait for the Cryo Kenki to load in and “see” you first before dashing away, so depending on how fast or slow your game loads, you may have to walk at regular speed for 1-2 steps before starting to dash.
With Zhongli, I found that I usually don’t have to take that extra step, but with Bennett, I almost always had to. So character height may affect the behavior too. The behavior overall is very finicky and you have to try a few different things to see what works for your setup.
@@jyolikearock_ the most consistent way i've found is to dash to the far left wall of the room as fast as possible and then walk/dash to the center past the neutral kenki, the same way you would do to group up 2 abyss lectors. the cryo kenki will dash towards the wall to chase after you, but will then walk back towards you as you go to the center. yeah it wastes like 10 seconds, but it does keep them grouped in my experience.
Idk if it is because of my ping (around 200) but I find great results dashing head in with Raiden into the Kenkis as soon as they load and doing my rotation right next to them, the cryo Kenki has never dashed with this method for me

I always found it easier to focus on the Anemo Kenki rather than the neutral Kenki. I'd steer the Anemo Kenki by orbitting an imaginary spot between us and try to steer the Anemo Kenki towards the neutral Kenki that way.
Someone else mentioned the same thing. It sounds like as long as you focus one of the two ranged Kenkis while keeping the other one “in line”, it will work.

I'm still at 34 stars, but I'm inching closer to those last two, and every second counts because I _am_ skill issue 😅 (the clear margin for 12-3 that got me star 34 was something like 3 seconds left on the clock 😳)

Thanks to Neuvillette, I don't need to tryhard that much since his Hydro Pump's range is long enough to hit even after the Cryo Kenki dashes away. Second side is a different story tho..

A very short and simple study is to play around with the FPS limiter (30/45/60) in the graphics settings to try to affect the Kenki Trio RNG. If you want to take this even one step further, then use different VPN servers to "artificially tweak" your ping and conduct the same study again (most people probably has access to work/university VPN).
I'm pretty sure that for certain combinations of FPS and ping, the frost Kenki simply will not dash; so you can just run it down the middle and get them grouped up for free. Getting free automatic Kenki grouping is especially notorious for mobile players with very scuffed setup.
i just stand in the middle of them and do my skill and burst (either with Nahida, Furina, Xingqui depends on what team i am using) and when my burst animation ends i found that the three of them is grouped
1:54 The best way I find to keep the green kenki grouped up is to bait his slash attack after positioning the other 2 kenkis in front of him. His slash animation will automatically move him forward so letting him move forward into the 2 kenkis, it essentially groups everyone together. The way to bait that attack is by positioning yourself between the blue/white kenki and the green one right after doing this 1:44. You'd need to be close to the green kenki to force that attack string.

Idk how many times ive restarted the abyss just to get them grouped up and save time upon killing them
I usually take 2 rotations with my team to defeat them if they group up properly and it takes upto 3 times if ever they spread out

Jyo, you gotta do a guide on how to allow Kazuha to break the Baptist's Cryo shield in a Freeze Ayaka team by allowing him to get hit by the fireball during the Pyro shield section. He can retain the fire damage aura even when switched off to another character. He can then burst swirl the Pyro aura and break the Cryo shield.
I always dash to the left then go behind them. To keep them together I stay in between them and get closer to green kenki if I notice him walking away so that he performs his double slash attack.
It's probably related to my device but no matter what I do, the cryo kenki very rarely dashes at the beginning, wheather I dash towards them, stand still or anything else so I don't have to worry about the beginning

Really loving your content so far! Can you please suggest tips and tricks for high ping players like myself who have trouble with the abyss. I don't want to change my servers because I'm AR 58 and my friends are from the server I'm playing in. I play at 250-350 sometimes 400 ping. Any help, team comps, tips and tricks are appreciated. ❤

I used arlicchino skill (hold) immediately clicking after starting the abyess and go near them ,then used yelan skill (hold) and burst then switch to benny burst and skill and then use layla skill and charge attack with arlicchino and do normal attack constantly. They never go far from each other .idk how but this team work for me .
Don't have zongli so have to use layla 😅

I don't know if it's my high ping or something, but this abyss I didn't have to do anything to group the Kenki, I like to play FFXX for this chamber.
If you mean that the cryo kenki doesn't dash at the beginning, that's the case for me too and I don't have high ping but my device is mid and I think that's what causes it
I gave up trying to stop the cryo Kenki from dashing me, it's not worth the effort.
With any team well built you just go to the center and i-frame the dash with the first ult of your rotation.
With Nahida I dash to the right, link them, ult to i-frame dash, start deploying Yae's turrets.
If no Nahida just use Fishl skill and use Kazuha burst
With Rosaria melt (with Diona instead of Kazuha) just use Diona shield+ult.
He comes back regardless so why bother.
Standing in front of anemo kenki > normal kenki. Anemo kenki will often sidestep while normal kenki will stay put and cryo kenki will pursue you, so it is actually better to focus on the anemo kenki to backstep into the three instead of just focusing the normal kenki for no reason. Same thing applies to operatives.
I tried both, but I slightly preferred to focus the Neutral Kenki because of the Anemo Kenki’s double slash attack.
When I focused the Anemo Kenki and he used the double slash to step towards me, the Neutral Kenki would stay back, and widen that gap between them. Unless I got lucky and they side-stepped toward each other, there was no way to reliably close that gap, since the Neutral Kenki has no attacks that make him walk toward you.
On the other hand, the Anemo Kenki’s double slash gave me an opportunity to reacquire the grouping if they got split up, as long as the Anemo Kenki was behind the Neutral one.
I think focusing either one can be viable though. The experience will probably vary across players, since their movement is difficult to predict most of the time.

Yeah... the side one never works for me. Maybe its my 200ms ping. Going back or Kazuha's skill usually do the trick. Kinda annoying since I like to have my driver at position 1 in the team so I often just run backwards. 😅
Tou can swap to Kazuha right as the chamber starts normally although maybe your ping prevents you from doing that

The problem with is, one too complex, and two, not fun. Action combat in RPGs is a mistake and have these issues between others.
