There is no Karbi land in that area,, Kachari King ruled Dimapur and its surrounding areas only. The Sema tribe arrived in the Dimapur area mostly after 1947 when the situation was peaceful in the area. Better not to claim ancestral land, as per open media published in the paper Keyevi village requested Zeliang people for settlement and were granted. So all those areas should be under Peren district without distinction of tribes or community. Our Sema brothers should not fight with their sympathiser, instead give thanks to them and maintain a peaceful brotherhood. This days no tribe can threaten with might. Every Naga has raw Naga blood, and anybody can take up extreme steps.

Lamhai belong to zeliang community under peren district and the land allotted by the consent authority of the village to any naga individual should not be a problem for government or any other's community ..the gov should solved the land dispute at the earliest.

to all those who without hearing the other sides of stories and comment(judging), may i take this previledges to clarify as per my knowledge ...although iam neither sumi nor from kiyevi village ... kiyevi village was estd in 1939 under British govt even before india got its independent, where as the so called lamhai namdhi which as per the chairman statement said that it was estd in 2019 could be the landowner ? , and the current issue began when the ZPO invited some zeliangrong brothers from manipur and assam who ever wish to settle in nagaland can do developmental activities such as trying to make houses by donating the land belonging to kiyevi village illegally by the so called selfstyle landowner of lamhainamdhi in the area of kiyevi village illegally which is hampering the nagaland atmosphere of peace and prosperity...now here what is confusing others is that , our zeliangrong brothers are trying to open a new village in the land the belongs to kiyevi with the same old name LAMHANAMDI which is creating lots of confusion. in the first attempt they donated kiyevis land to our zeliangrong brothers from elsewhere viz nagaland ,assam and manipur ,when they fail . now our zeliangrong brothers are playing another hatred tricks/game by freely donating kiyevis property to some of our naga brethens called tenemia so as to gain favour from them and to bring hatred on the other side . also not forgetting the reason behind the police and IR involvement was the govt have clearly stated both side to maintain peace by not constructing any developmental activities in the so call dispute area until it get settled but our zeliangrong brothers without listenting to govt order they are going ahead with it ... so definately the police will take its own course of action when such orders are not respected

So if lamhai namdi gb wants to invite other outside people to the said area and give them permission to cut trees, take resources and settle there freely inspite of the order..isn't it only fair to arrest people who are clearly not following the order? The lamhai GB does nothing in his actions to bring amicable solution nor does he want to have a dialogue. He even recently threatned the sema community that he'll cut, beat and kill them if he sees them anywhere. Does that sound like a leader who wants to bring peace to his own people? I don't know who is right or wrong between the disputed villages but knowing that the Government has declared it as disputed Land and given the order to not develop till the dispute is cleared is in itself creating issues between Tribes . Absolutely right. From the disputed parties, representatives should come out to eat the soil picked from the disputed area of land. This is customary practice of the Nagas and it does work. The liers' side will die or witness curse of the dispute first. Then they must surrender to the other party. This is the law of the nature which Naga ancestors have held since time immemorial. You may not fear human power, but you cannot remain fearless in the eye of God who made this land.

There is no Karbi land in that area,, Kachari King ruled Dimapur and its surrounding areas only. The Sema tribe arrived in the Dimapur area mostly after 1947 when the situation was peaceful in the area. Better not to claim ancestral land, as per open media published in the paper Keyevi village requested Zeliang people for settlement and were granted. So all those areas should be under Peren district without distinction of tribes or community. Our Sema brothers should not fight with their sympathiser, instead give thanks to them and maintain a peaceful brotherhood. This days no tribe can threaten with might. Every Naga has raw Naga blood, and anybody can take up extreme steps.

And if to be a truely examplary donar to all nagas, i wish land offer must be given at jalukie and peren side where there is no dispute. Those establishment of Jalukie , kiyevi, Lamhai etc may be old days where empty land was available and there was no claimant so it might have established but that same system of gathering like-minded people to go for fight to occupy area is not to b practiced in this generation.
