Grapes of Wrath is one of my favorite adaptations and probably my favorite Henry Fonda Performance (My Darling Clementine Honorable mention) Don't recall seeing it on this list.
If you are planning to make more videos like this i highly recommend to take a look at the sight and sound poll (there is a critics and the directors one) and tspdt as those lists are genrally considered more prestigious and doesnt have problems like recency bias or favors popular movies like imdb and letterboxd. I think you will discover a lot of new movies on those lists. Also i prefer you to split this types of videos to two parts as i feel most of the films you talked about are quite rushed.
Yeah those are pretty nice lists. I am thinking about doing more but there starts to be a lot of overlap. I'll need to think a bit about the format. Maybe I should make a ranking list of all these lists.
I think a tier list ranking would be great for this type of videos. As for the overlaps, you should probably just review it briefly so you can talk about the ones you haven't reviewed.
I would love you to watch satantango one day, I'd love you to hear your thoughts on that movie. There are two intermissions in that movie if you find it way too long. Also if you are planning to do more this type of videos, i think you should have it in 2 or 3 parts as i find most of the films you talked about way too short and it will be less tiring for you to make those videos of course.
Yeah I noticed that some of my most notable omissions here were for long movies. It's hard to fit them into my week but I gotta come up with a strategy for that because I am missing some really good stuff. Maybe I can start with the Turin Horse in the meantime although it didn't make this list.
Niiice, the ones I haven’t seen that you were serious enough about to steady your gaze into the camera and recommend are going on my watchlist. For sure Tarantino is a hack, Wes Anderson is meh’ and superhero/samurai/war movies are mostly passé. Also, I saw Gena Rowlands died yesterday, one of the best actresses I’ve ever seen. With her in mind I agree _Opening Night_ is Cassavetes’ best, Woody Allen made a movie with her in the lead role called _Another Woman_ that is little known and not well reviewed (there is some melodrama there) but I like it a lot, I could see why some wouldn’t like it though. If you do see another WA film I’d recommend _Crimes and Misdemeanors_ above the rest.
I'll check those out. Not much WA on this list, whether that's Woody Allen, Wes Anderson (not as much as expected from Letterboxd), Western Australia, or Washington.
I saw your IMDb Top 250 video, and was hoping you’d look at the Letterboxd Top 250, I’m so glad you did!
I'm watching this 6 days after you posted this and the list has already changed quite a bit.
Awesome! Thanks for revisiting the list!

Nice! for other video like this consider share the screen so we can see the movie names and posters, and follow better what you are talking about
