I love this creature a lot! In my recent survival on Fjordur, this fella was my most used creature. Unfortunately my Mylo (that's what I named him) was killed by Alpha Nasutoceratops. Today I got a Rhynio, and named it after him.

Finally a giant dragonfly. The biggest ever insect was a dragonfly relative so why do we have giant wasps and Mantis but not this?
Pretty sure the Rhynio it's a Mayfly irl, in ARK it's a chimera of a LOT of bugs, fitting considering it's ARK's species name, Antiquagenitor (Ancient Father or Ancient Parent) referencing that it's the oldest insect known

EXACTLY my point. The Rhynio was also a good choice for the name Yanmega, but I did always think it was too bulky for it.

While quick there are fliers quicker than them, and they're very easy to lure with snacks. Pick up a scorpion and use it to lure them to a target destination
